I absolutely love it when a bride and groom fully embrace a theme. Especially when the theme is a glamorous, roaring twenties, Great Gatsby inspired wedding. Along with the planning and styling skills of Confetti a Colazione, Bride and groom, Elisabetta and Marco absolutely nailed all the little details. From Elisabetta elegant silk Jenny Packham gown, through to the Art Deco wedding stationery, and even serving their champagne drinks reception in coupe glasses. All of the magic was captured by Matrimoni all’Italiana, who has made me swoon with delight over every detail documented at this Italian destination weddding.

Lucia, the Wedding Planner: Elisabetta and Marco, a stunning and classy couple of lawyers, came to me the very first time and asked for a classic and traditional wedding, but it soon transpired we could dare to do something a little different. They deserved it! Just after having shared a gold, vintage style font invitation on our Pinterest board, the Great Gatsby theme was born. For the reception, held at the magnificent Villa Borromeo, we wanted to create a 20s atmosphere with no excess in lavish. Chic and elegant were our keywords during the whole planning phase.

The bride…what about Elisabetta? The unique Jenny Packham silk dress was made for her and for the wedding! Refined accessories, hair, makeup, and Louboutin shoes completed her bridal look beautifully. She looked stunning. This reminds us how important every single detail is to create the perfect bridal outfit.

Proteas, Pampas Grass & Feather Wedding Flowers

An unusual flower selection fulfilled the dream: not only classic white roses but also proteas, intense colours, and pampas grass. Oh, and feathers of course!

Fun Fact

Bride Elisabetta had two bouquets, one more beautiful than the other! Guest favors were lovely bespoke lithographies printed in Italy with the original technique, enumerated and signed by the bride and groom.
