If you’re looking for stunning scenery… then look no further than this Isle Of Skye elopement. We are just blown away by this stunning day! Anne Catherine & Alex were planning to marry in Edinburgh, but due to the pandemic, changed their plans. Not only that, this awesome couple settled on an eco-friendly and zero impact wedding! Choosing sustainable vendors and going for a boho chic style, their day looks positively idyllic.

I think getting married in such a stunning landscape was an incredibly unique experience. Everywhere we went was astonishing. Saying our vows with Eilean Donan Castle in the background, with bagpipe music playing was a once in a lifetime experience. I will never forget the feeling of being the protagonist in a magical fairytale.
SUSTAINABILITY
We really wanted to keep everything as eco-friendly as possible. I love boho chic styling, so this is what we went for, whilst always choosing sustainable vendors and elements. We wanted nature and us to be connected. Breathing the freedom and relaxation that only nature is able to give to you.
ADVICE
Be ready for the impossible! The weather in the Isle Of Skye changed every ten seconds. We went through all four seasons in one day. Generally speaking, be ready to being surprised by your plan B and by the person you love. This wasn’t the wedding we planned, but I now believe a traditional wedding wouldn’t be for me.
If you can find yourself a little bit of beautiful landscape and sunshine for that post-wedding photoshoot… then you really are winning.
I loved every single moment. If I had to pick one, I think it would be the ceremony. With the castle in the background and the bagpipes playing. It was my favourite.
