Beginning this boho city celebration at the Islington town hall wedding ceremony which was then followed by a relaxed party at a London pub! Beautiful rustic flowers and the bride’s flower crown provided pops of colour to the day. The bride looked beautiful in a boho bride dress that looked super pretty next to the dove blue mismatched bridesmaids! The couple wanted a chilled vibe that their friends and families could feel relaxed and let their hair down and with a Simply Red tribute act surprising the guests, there was nothing keeping them from the dancefloor!
WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE
“We tried to keep the whole day really relaxed and true to us, we celebrate birthdays, new year’s eve, Christmas parties, etc with parties at the pub so we wanted our special day to be an epic version of a pub party!” – Rosie & Ross
Islington Town Hall Wedding
The couple chose to have their ceremony at Islington town hall and then make their way to The Colonel Fawcett for one epic pub party! Having always celebrated birthdays, special events and other milestones at the pub the couple couldn’t think of a better place to have their reception. The couple added an oyster bar to their already delicious menu which added a little foodie touch! All finished off with flower hoop decor, confetti balloons, personalised signs and old records as table names which were a little nod to the couples love of music.
INSPIRATION & STYLING
“Chilled and relaxed and we wanted our selves and everyone else to be comfortable. The bridesmaids each wore dresses that suited their shape and they are dresses that they can all wear again sometime. I wanted my bouquet and flower crown to be really colourful to stand out against my white dress and make the whole ‘look’ colourful and cheerful.” – Rosie & Ross
