Jessica & David

How incredibly magical to say I do at El Convent de Blanes in Costa Brava under that spectacular hydrangea floral arch and surrounded by those picturesque coastal views. It really must have taken guests breath away. The styling from Bodas de Cuento is utterly fabulous and sets off the mood beautifully. And I love that SO much of the decor inspiration came from the couples love of travel. Captured beautifully by Mónica Carrera, this wedding has definitely got the WOW factor.

Planning

Bodus de Cuento Wedding Designers: Can you imagine to say "Yes, I Do" on a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea? That's exactly what David and Jessica did a few months ago. They were married in an astonishing venue called El Convent de Blanes, were the famous Costa Brava just begins. When we recommended this venue to the couple we knew it would be love at first sight. It's impossible not to fall in love with its 3,000 hydrangeas and spectacular views... The ceremony was presided by a floral arch full of hydrangeas, roses and greens with the sea behind it. David waited there for the arrival of Jessica. She was gorgeous in her Pronovias dress. Then, in the appetizer, we designed a seating plan made with customized compasses. David and Jessica were travel enthusiasts, so every table was a city of the world. The reception took place in a former convent on the top of the venue. All the walls were properly illuminated in the colors of the wedding and we opted for high centerpieces with lots of candles to create a charming ambience. The table numbers were names of citys of the world made of wood. It was a very colorful wedding, with a color palette with different tones of pinks, fuchsias and blues. David, the groom, is Miriam's brother. Her wedding with Juan was also featured on Rock My Wedding a year ago!
