What Made Our Day Unique
We made choices that reflected the kind of wedding day we wanted to have. It was most important for us to choose a venue that wasn't marketed as a 'wedding venue'. This allowed us to create our own vision of how we wanted our wedding to be rather than following any pre-set rules. We live abroad, which meant we quickly realised all we really wanted was to bring everyone together from all the corners of our life so far to have a big party in a charming pub garden, in the middle of the beautiful English countryside.
Lauren & Joseph
The bridal party wore emerald green one-shoulder bridesmaid dresses, with the exception of brides-man who wore a green kilt, next to the bride in her strapless layered wedding dress from Justin Alexander! The groom and groomsmen kept things traditional and looked dapper in morning suits with grey waistcoats! A beautiful day for a beautiful couple!
Inspiration & Styling
We quickly decided that we simply wanted to complement the natural 18th-century pub garden setting and chose sage green, white, and gold to keep the styling soft and natural with an almost organic feeling by having exposed reclaimed wooden tables and material hanging menu and table plan. This was all tied together by the beautiful botanical handline drawing that Katie (Paper Bo London) designed for our invitation suite. We used this across all of our on-the-day stationery and it truly brought it all together so perfectly. We will treasure that drawing forever.

Keeping everyone entertained were The Sonics, a band that Lauren & Joseph had found on Alive Network - an entertainment booking agency who are also one of Rock My Wedding's recommended suppliers!
