What Made Our Day Unique
We wanted our wedding to be as personal as possible. When we first visited Anran we had our heart set on walking back through the fields from the church to the venue. Luckily the weather was on our side and we were able to enjoy our walk together. We created many elements ourselves including, a doorway arch, two bars made from pallets, collected bottles for our tables, macrame table runs and our stationery. We set the whole day up in the days leading upto our special day and we couldn't have done it without the help of our friends and family.
Macrame Table Runner
The couple were not afraid to get their hands dirty and make some of their own decorations for this summer celebration. From the rustic door arch and the handmade bar to the wedding stationery and macrame table runner that ran the length of the long wooden banquet tables during the wedding breakfast. The couple really made use of every corner of the Devon wedding venue including a "Pimp my Prosecco" station and bright florals!Inspiration & Styling
We went for a relaxed / outdoorsy style wedding that suited our personality as a couple. Most important for us was being able to have all of our friends and family with us and for all of them to feel at home at the venue. We had rustic style outdoor seating and decorations which we’d created ourselves throughout. We were very fortunate with the weather which allowed us to utilise all the different areas of this expansive venue. We wanted to put our own stamp on the day and so tried to do as much as possible ourselves.
