Marta & Pablo

The flowers and colours at this Spanish wedding are just WOW, as is the fashion and views. I honestly don't know where to start, everything is just so beautiful. Marta & Pablo wanted an informal mediterranean wedding with their family and friends, and found the perfect venue L’Avellana in Tarragona. The secret clearing where they held their outdoor ceremony is a thing of dreams, a carpet of petals and hanging bottles in the trees complimented perfectly with Pablo's tweed suit and Marta's bohemian Otaduy gown and wreath of olive branches. Celebrating their marriage with a vibrant reception full of cinematic references, twinkling lights and a dreamy sunset. Every detail was planned and styled perfectly by Bodas de Cuento and has been captured perfectly too by F2 Studio, for you to pore over. Outfits

Marta The Bride: I wanted an Otaduy’s wedding dress from the very beginning. This type of gown perfectly reflected my personality. Otaduy is an indie brand for brides with a strong personality. Pablo chose a Tween suit by a very stylish turkish brand Damat Tween.

Venue

L’Avellana was THE PLACE. It is a unique venue located near Tarragona, perfect to host our mediterranean wedding. Located in the middle of nowhere, set amongst a forest, our ideal setting.

Colour Scheme

To enhance that mediterranean style, I wore a wreath of olive leaves, and the entire wedding had details in blues, whites and greens.

Flowers & Decor

We dreamed of an unconventional wedding, and that’s exactly what it was! It was full of colour (the flowers by 5 Floristería Mood Shop were awesome), where we combined round and large wooden tables. We wanted everything to be very informal, just like a gathering of friends. And that is exactly how it was. We are both cinephiles: for that reason we designed a seating plan inspired by an old illuminated billboard, with each film as a table. Furthermore, each guest had its own ‘movie ticket’ with the number of the table. We celebrated the ceremony in the middle of the forest with an incomparable sunset and the reception was inside a tent especially decorated for the occasion with garlands of lights and pendants.
