Inspiration

Did someone say they wanted mint green bridesmaid dresses? Well, we have them here at this stunning outdoor summer wedding at Recommended venue, Dewsall Court! This oh-so classic wedding was captured by Recommended photographer, Story + Colour. Complete with pretty florals and views, this wedding looks so elegant. But this wedding doesn't just look good, it was a fun and exciting experience for the guests too. Jess and Barnaby opted for an audio guestbook with private voice messages for the couple and even had a wandering band for their wedding breakfast! Their entertainment was from Recommended suppliers, Tailored Entertainment and Entertainment Nation. FYI you're going to need some tissues to watch their wedding video below...

Elegant & classic mint green bridesmaid dresses at Dewsall Court wedding

Our wedding was the first that most of our guests had been to since the guest limit restrictions on weddings had been lifted.
Because of this, it felt like everybody was so ready for a big party and it was just amazing to have everyone back together again after so long. We think that definitely made the day a bit more emotional and lively!

Vibe

Jess and Barnaby had originally planned to get married at a chateau in France but had to cancel because of the pandemic.
They wanted to keep the same rustic/outdoorsy feel from the chateau, that they found in Dewsall Court. The wedding had classic white and green florals that went along perfectly with the elegant feel and matched the mint green bridesmaid dresses. With a backdrop of a white flower floral arch and views of the Black Mountains, these photos are too good to miss. Is it getting hot in here? At dusk, Jess and Barnaby had a sparkler exit with hearts of flames! They also had a wandering band for the wedding breakfast. Everybody was up dancing between courses and the guests have all said how much they loved it.

Mint green bridesmaid dresses

The couple wanted the classic wedding look. Hence the black tux and big wedding dress! That Pronovias wedding dress is definitely a highlight. The mint green bridesmaid dresses are elegant and a perfect touch for keeping in with the 'classic' theme. A unique and special detail that Jess and Barnaby had on their wedding day was an audio guestbook. The guests loved being able to leave a voice message rather than writing a generic message in a book. It ended up being a lovely and funny moment for the couple to listen to the messages and to hear the guests enjoying themselves.

Why not try an audio guestbook? You’ll get to listen back to your guests’ special messages

Have time just the two of you during the day - everybody says it and I am so glad we made sure to do this! It's so nice to have a moment to catch up and enjoy some time together. Also, try not to worry about the weather. In the build-up, we obsessed about it as our ceremony was outdoors, but on the day we just did not care. It rained during our ceremony and our guests actually said it somehow made it even more magical!
