INSPIRATION & STYLING

"For this shoot we were aiming for a minimalist, feminine, modern, luxe feel. The venue, Secret Tower, was absolutely perfect for this, the huge windows on all sides flooded the room with natural light and the white walls gave it such a fresh feeling. The bride wore a selection of delicate, ethereal dresses from Y.A.P Bridal, which were perfectly complemented by the stunning earrings and headpieces from Lilley Studio. WEDDING FLOWERS

"For this shoot, we opted for two bouquets. Both luxe, divine and classic but with modern shapes of asymmetrically tied and contrasting each other. The only rose bouquet has been a classic for years but in more of a domed shape. Whereas this tiered bundle offers texture and depth whilst only using one kind of stem. Whereas the pastel bundle uses lots of different textures and pastel colours to bring all elements of the shoot together. We also used dyed tulips in our arrangements, these are one of our personal favourites as the colour in the petals comes through strained and each strain has its own shade. We use our own unique methods to arrange the tulips so they’re fully bloomed. Little delicate textures were used throughout this shoot, including some of our dainty votives in Matt black with linen wheat tablecloths and napkins paired with the elegance of a scalloped edge charger plate." - Sprig and Thistle - Florist & Event Styling

BRIDAL HAIR & MAKEUP

"Helping to bring this modern, luxe shoot to life was an absolute dream. My personal goal was to create a fresh, high-end look, starting as always with a flawless base. I incorporated peachy tones on the eyes and cheeks, created a flattering blown-out winged liner and a complimentary red lip. As we moved through the different dresses, I also wanted to show how easily your bridal look can change throughout your day, with a quick lipstick change, a different blusher or a sweep of eyeshadow. I really enjoyed working with our model Fee’s super short hair. Switching up the headpieces, and making simple changes to the hairstyle throughout the shoot, really showed that you don’t have to have long hair on your wedding day.
