What Made Our Day Unique
The bringing together of cultures. It was very important for us to reflect the diversity of our lives and relationship. Together we are both British (Irish decent) and Nigerian, we have an awesome group of friends from all works of life that live all over the county and the world. We reflected that through our music, our food and how we dressed, loved, laughed, celebrated and partied
Nigerian Wedding
Boma and Carlos enlisted the help of wedding planner, Emma Joy to help them organise their Nigerian wedding. She was their absolute rock throughout the whole experience and was the best investment, emotionally and financially they made. Together they enhanced all aspects with modern signs, contemporary flower arrangements and beautiful fashion. Super talented Elena Popa Photography, was also on hand to capture all the details, energy and passion which I sure you're pinning as you read!Inspiration & Styling
The vibe for the day was relaxed chic. The style was boho-luxe! We were very conscious about not creating a lot of waste, weddings are tricky because you want to add lots of textures and layers, but you could end up creating lots to throw away in the process. We choose the venue because it didn’t need a lot of dressing, the outside spaces were so beautiful, big trees, the south downs in the background and a beautiful courtyard for when the groom arrived in a Jaguar E-Type. We added a few touches with the neon sign from Vow & Amazed and strategically placed flowers from Dove & Mertle, the whole thing looked great and the pictures look amazing
