What an unforgettable summer night this must have been. A cosy outdoor reception with long trestle tables featuring the most beautiful and vibrant plant pot centrepieces, all surrounded by stunning gardens and framed by magnificent fairy lights. The beautiful blooms are echoed in Bride Paloma's flower crown and bouquet, and pop against her delicate custom made Xavier González's gown, as well as all the fabulous rustic decor. Have you seen the seating area and wooden signs yet? You must, they are Pin-tastic! Diez & Bordons certainly captured this vibrant, Spanish destination wedding to perfection, and Detallerie certainly knew how to style and plan it. Anybody else longing for romantic summer evenings in the garden now?

The Venue

Detallerie Wedding Planners: Paloma and Jordi wanted to celebrate their wedding in some place they feel like home. We were asked to find a place where we could organise a very familiar celebration. And so we did it...we chose Masía Ribas, a traditional Catalán house from 1770 as a familiar venue it match perfectly with what the lovely couple wanted.

The Dress

Paloma dressed at home with Xavier Gonzalvez's unique custom made wedding gown and she choose a traditional and trendy shoes: an espadrilles from Eduard Castillo. Finally she wore a headpiece of dried flowers, a special gift of a very close friend. She enjoyed every minute of this emotive moment that she even had the time to play the piano for a while.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place at the Monastery of Valldonzella a special church at the Upper East Side of Barcelona and then all the guests and the couple arrived to Masía Ribas a classic Cataluña house from 1770.

Reception

In order to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere we design a cocktail dinner with Wooden tables without tablecloth, benches, a very colorful decoration, and a lot of corners with high tables, stools, sofas, etc., in which each guest could sit where they wanted (and change places too!) And they could find any menu they wanted among 6 varieties of buffets and appetizers that were served.

Entertainment

Paloma's family its very musical talent, so we have a surprise for them. We design a special and cozy corner with some instruments so the family can play and sing through the night.

Special Moments

The spontaneous and unique bride went upstairs to the second flour of the antique masía and from the balcony make a choreography with her friends and then throw the bouquet to the crowd. We prepare for the party a cool photocall and football corner for Jordi and his friends. And following all the idea of making this wedding a familiar and cozy moment the beautiful bride made artesanal soaps as a gift for every guest. But without any doubt the best part of this wedding was all the love and fun that was everywhere because of a special couple that did everything to make everyone feel special and happy.
