Today's Ravello wedding with crystal blue skies and, picturesque settings is making us long for sunnier climes. Having visited Villa Cimbrone previously and fallen in love with it. Ying and Mike were overjoyed they could also get married there. Ying takes not one but two bridal outfits for their civil and Chinese Tea ceremonies and looks stellar in both. Those sleeves. That train!

We travelled to Ravello 4 years ago and wandered around in the beautiful garden and Terrace of Infinity at Villa Cimbrone. We had a wonderful time and were enchanted by the garden and view from the infinity terrace, but had no idea it was a hotel. It was a nice surprise for us to discover we could actually get married there when we were searching for our wedding venue. We have so many great memories from our previous trips.
RAVELLO WEDDING
The hotel event ended by midnight. We grabbed a few bottles of wine and headed down to the town square, sat outside on the stairs in front of the church, drank, ate chips, laughed and danced.
SUPPLIERS
Start contacting suppliers early as the good ones get booked up fast. We sourced our own photographer and videographer rather than go with the venue or wedding planner's recommendations. It’s such an important decision based on personal style/preference.
A destination wedding with views of the Amalfi coast and glorious sunshine.
Don't get stressed out by any detail that might not go as planned. Just enjoy the moments. Have a protein powered breakfast, stay hydrated, and ask your bridesmaids to carry your water, lipstick and a comb.
