This beautiful dress was purchased in August 2019, from Morgan Davies Bridal, in London, for my wedding that was planned in July this year (2020). The original purchase price was £1,600.00. Due to Covid, and me now being pregnant, we cancelled the wedding altogether. So this dress has never been worn, apart from trying on in the shop, and is in perfect condition. Bespoke ivory silk georgette skirt with an ivory laced bodice with floral applique and bead-work, sequins and pearls. The gown has a plunging neckline and a low back. The applique is complemented by a bold plunging neckline and a low back that flows into a fantasy of wispy tulle. This dress is a beautiful work of art - not only is the lace intricate and unique, it is also wonderfully comfortable with the free-flowing skirt. I haven't had the dress altered at all. So there's room to play around with the fit. I am 5ft 7" and as you can see from the pictures, it's still quite long for me. From the pictures it looks like a perfect fit but it's actually the way I was standing and the angles of the picture. I definitely would've needed the waist and boob area altered as they were slightly too big. Below are the measurements o a size 8: Bust - 84cm Waist - 66cm High hip - 87cm Low hip - 92cm I also purchased a matching Ivory & Co belt, from Morgan Davies too. You will see the belt in the majority of the pictures. The belt finishes the dress of beautifully and really accentuates the waist. Picture 5 showcases the dress without the belt. I am including the price of the belt within the price of the overall dress. Retail price for the belt was £100. I am based in Woodford Green (on the outskirts of London).
