Inspiration

Gemma & Chris said their I-do’s during an intimate, socially distanced ceremony at The Manor Rooms. Looking effortlessly chic in her Rosa Clara bridal gown, Gemma not only picked her dress a day before the wedding (our palms are sweating just thinking about it…), she also baked their wedding cake - recipe now saved for future anniversaries! Knowing they wanted to marry this summer no matter what, Chris & Gemma booked their wedding venue just five days before and found things quickly falling into place. With a few DIY touches, trust in their suppliers, and a personalised Spotify Playlist, Chris & Gemma have once again proven that a socially distanced wedding can be everything you want, and a little more… (sorry COVID-19, love wins again).

What Made Our Day Unique

Our day was far from the wedding we initially planned. The pandemic changed our venue, we had originally planned to wed in Northern Ireland. When our reception cancelled our date we knew we still wanted to get married this summer no matter what it looked like. Despite starting from scratch five weeks before the day we were thrilled with how our wedding turned out. We are so glad we decided to embrace the uncertain times and create a wedding our guests won't forget!

Rosa Clara Bridal

Shall we all just take a moment to appreciate this Rosa Clara bridal gown? Ok, now that’s over - we simply cannot get enough of this wedding dress! Featuring a halter style neckline and exquisite lace bodice, the delicate criss-cross straps to the back of the dress form a flawless deep V, leading to a dreamy full-length skirt. Eurgh, we’ve officially fallen in love.

Inspiration & Styling

We knew we wanted a relaxed vibe for our guests to enjoy and we think the intimacy of only 30 guests really helped set the perfect tone. We decided to keep things simple but make what we chose really special to us. We trusted our suppliers and asked them to do what they thought was best with the smaller details - they are the professionals after all! This keeps things light and stress-free as we weren't being perfectionists about many aspects. For us, the main goal was to have a God-centred ceremony that was right for us and our family.

Advice

Trust the professionals! Ask them for their advice and let them help you create your perfect day. Choose what's important to you and don't be afraid to make those decisions yourself, let wider family help you with the things you feel are less important to you as individuals. Remember why you're getting married and don't get caught up in the little things. A list always helps too!
