This sale registry office wedding has the most beautiful story (get the tissues ready!) Having been engaged for six years, Kurt turned to Holly on a sunny day during lockdown and said “let’s get married”. So, 8 weeks later, and using the pandemic to their advantage (solely closest family attending), they said their I-do’s. We also love the incredible captures from Recommended Supplier, Ayesha Rahman. This gorgeous day feels so intimate and filled with love, we simply can’t get enough.
We just picked things we liked and it came together quite naturally!Holly & Kurt
We picked a gorgeous local florist and a lovely local bake house for our flowers and cake. They were just places I knew of and had bought flowers and eaten the cake so knew they were exactly what we wanted. My dress was the first and only one I tried and I loved it! The rings we picked were from a friend that’s a jeweller.
If you’re considering a small wedding I would say absolutely go for it, this wasn’t our ‘Plan B’. We had all the lovely things we wanted but just on a smaller scale. It wasn’t stressful or lots of money and there isn’t a single thing I’d change about the day. And, we didn’t tell anyone else till the day after the wedding.
We’d thought a lot about how and where we were going to get married, but never actually organised anything! Babies came first, so a wedding kind of took a back seat. From him saying let’s do it, to actually doing it, it took about 8 weeks.Holly & Kurt
