Shilstone House Wedding With Blush Bridesmaids & Foliage Chandelier

A dreamy Shilstone House wedding nestled in the Devonshire countryside with guests travelling from around the world to help this couple celebrate! Keeping things simple but oh so elegant, the bride chose a minimalist Made With Love wedding dress with low back and long cathedral veil with delicate lace detailing. The decor was sophisticated and classic with a hanging foliage chandelier in the bright reception space and tall floral centrepieces with white, blush and peach roses. Complementing all this were the bridesmaids who all looked beautiful in pink Maids to Measure bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen looking dapper in light matching suits and bowties. And all this was captured by the amazing Jennifer Jane Photography – who just happens to be one of our incredible handpicked suppliers!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

“We both felt pretty spoilt being adorned in jewellery created by Matt Foster London, Luke’s brother. From my engagement ring (which he and Luke had designed), our wedding bands (which Matt guided Luke and I through the process of making), my earrings (which were a wedding gift from my parents) to Luke’s Albert chain (which Matt designed with a nod to Luke being a doctor), it was so meaningful that every piece was made by him.” – Saira & Luke

Shilstone House Wedding

Despite one month’s worth of rain falling the day before this August celebration, the sun came out for this Shilstone House wedding and the venue looked incredibly pretty. As soon as the couple saw this Georgian manor house they knew it was the venue for them despite it being quite far from their hometowns. Light, bright and botanical was the theme for the day, a relaxed ambience for guests to enjoy the day’s formalities then party on into the night!

INSPIRATION & STYLING

“We wanted the wedding style to be light, botanical and classic. The beautiful gardens of Shilstone meant we did not need to go overboard with decorations and provided a perfect country wedding setting. We wanted guests to relax, have fun and party like there’s no tomorrow, which they certainly did!” – Saira & Luke

Our handpicked supplier list is there to help you, we have got the best of the best in wedding suppliers and popped them all in one place, including Shropshire Petals who provide beautiful confetti, Made With Love bridal who have the prettiest dresses (just like this simplistic but sophisticated number!) and Jennifer Jane Photography who captured this summer celebration in Devon!

  1. I absolutely love this! Everything is so chic and elegant and the venue is to die for! Love the look of the stone but also all the greenery used for decor and around the venue for portraits. Well done!
