What Made Our Day Unique
Intimate ceremony and venue - amid the corona crisis. I had little nuances and additions from where we live Leigh on Sea as well as LONDON links and places we love. We love Soho, so I was elated to find a hotel (we could be with the melee of people. We also had an iconic London Black Cab to take us to the town hall. My son Albie walked me down the aisle which was very special.
Short Wedding Dress
If we had legs like Lauren we wouldn't hide them either. She absolutely nails it in a stellar short wedding dress for her city wedding. The fitted silhouette, long sleeves and low back design elements suit her down to the ground. She completes her look with a yellow bouquet and Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps and swaps her short veil for a bow headdress. Her and Robert, also don stylish shades as they roam around London for couples portraits with the fabulous Elena Popa Photography, standing in front of flower-filled doorways, posing on bridges and casually sitting on steps. They were literally born to do it! They culminate their day by heading to the pub where they listen to a cheesy playlist and enjoy finally being Mr and Mrs!Inspiration & Styling
Laid back luxe. I decided on all the yellow accents right at the final moment. I’m a Leo, and the August flower is the sunflower, the rest kind of happened by chance. It was all extremely last minute - Boris announced beauty could work from the 15th so five days before my wedding I was booking tanning and makeup! The pub - The Phene I was alerted to by my cab driver and it ended up being a brilliant punt! I’d never even visited, let alone taste their food! I wore Le Labo 13 perfume (13 is my birthday) mixed with Jean-Paul Gauthier which I've worn since I was 15. When I met Rob I wore 13 and it reminds him of me :)

Don’t let anything hold you back, don’t sweat the small things. For once in my life I wasn’t a complete control freak - I just worked with the time/days I had and it all fell together naturally
