This small wedding in Italy isn’t just a beautiful day, it’s also a beautiful story. Stephanie & Mark met later in life, and in Stephanie’s words; she didn’t think she would ever marry. Well, love always wins, and this gorgeous pair eventually found each other. Marrying at the Villa Pepi (a venue close to their hearts), they spent the day surrounded by love. With cocktails on the veranda at sunset, dinner under twinkling fairy lights, and beautiful floral displays, we can’t think of anything more perfect. We feel as though we’ve stepped right into the pages of a romantic novel, and we don’t want to leave!

We wanted our day to be simple and beautiful and to follow the inspiration we took from the gorgeous Italian countryside and traditions.
VILLA PEPI
Villa Pepi is a very special place for us. We fell in love with it and her owner, Ilaria, before our wedding and knew it was where we wanted to marry. It poured the night before and throughout the morning of the wedding. Everything was scheduled to be outside and it didn't look like that would happen. Miraculously, the sun came out and everything was fresh and colourful! The intimacy of the Pepi family chapel, the villa history and beauty and the love we felt from those we love best made our day so extraordinary and amazing for us.
ADVICE
We found the small size and intimacy of our Italian wedding was perfect for us. We were able to spend quality time with all of our family members and friends. It seems that when weddings or receptions get too large (we had a large dinner reception upon our return to the U.S), that you can miss the uniqueness of the day. We never thought someone would capture in photographs the beauty and essence of Villa Pepi, but Lauren McCormick did. She captured the light, history, joy and the love of our wedding day in her stunning photos.
We’re a sucker for a love story, and this one is giving us all the feels. Each photo just radiates love!
Mark says his favourite moment is when the camera caught us as he held my face and kissed me. Another was after the ceremony; we were on the veranda, enjoying cocktails, and the sun began to set over the spectacular rolling hills of Tuscany!
