Having both been born there it was always going to be a South Africa wedding for this gorgeous couple! Planning every detail of their day from the UK meant they only saw the venue 3 days before the big day itself - but it did not disappoint. The couple were graced with glorious sunshine whilst they said their vows in the rustic setting followed by an alfresco dinner amongst the vineyards! Effortlessly stunning!
What Made Our Day Unique
My husband and I were both born in South Africa, and so chose to have a destination wedding, in the middle of the Winelands, just outside of Cape Town.We got married on a stunning rose farm, and our entire wedding took place outdoors. Luckily we were blessed with amazing weather. Our day was unique in that we had to plan our entire wedding from the UK, and we only saw our venue three days before we got married! Planning the wedding from the UK meant that we had no menu or cake tasting, no decor/table/floral examples, we didn't even have a rehearsal dinner. In a way it took out a lot of the stress of planning, we were both quite relaxed, and just had to make decisions on things. And the day turned out perfect, in fact it completely exceeded our expectations!Abbi & Renaud
Wanting to marry on home turf this couple decided on a South Africa wedding. Nestled amongst the mountains they found Langkloof Roses, a gorgeous rustic venue where they wed surrounded by rose gardens and vineyards, whilst enjoy an incredible sunset. Now if that is not a romantic setting we don't know what is!
Inspiration & Styling
We wanted our day to be relaxed and fun for us, but also for all of our guests. We wanted a day filled with laughter, and love, and a good party. We had a less formal wedding, but still had some good old tradition in there too. The inspiration behind the styling was simple, rustic and romantic. I wanted all our decor/flowers to complement the natural beauty of the venue.Abbi & Renaud
