The gorgeous Almonry Barn will forever be one of our favourite wedding venues. It’s where we shot lots of the images for the RMW Book, Your Day Your Way and we’ve featured many a beautiful wedding from here over the years. For this wedding, Jess and Adam filled the barn with pretty pink details and the images come from the wonderful Bowtie and Belle Photography.
We’re at RMW fave venue, Almonry Barn this afternoon. It’s a place that never fails to make us, and you, swoon. With those gorgeous stone walls and floors, the incredible doorways and THAT fairy light chandelier – if you’ve never stumbled across it before, then I have a feeling you’re going to love it. Almonry certainly charmed Laura & David, this was the one and only venue they viewed.
The styling is very feminine, with lots of gorgeous pastel flowers and ribbons everywhere. The bridesmaids are a bevy of beauties in soft grey and Laura stuns in Wtoo by Watters, who make the most stunning of dresses, as you’ll see. The final result is just gorgeous, so without further ado, let’s enjoy it…
Almonry Barn is by far one of my most favourite wedding venues, and I must confess when I realised I’d be sharing owners Louise & Pauls big day there, I did a little happy dance. One because Louise is a sweetheart and has incredible taste. (If you haven’t already, check out her home tour on Rock My Style it’s beaut.) And two because the theme is incredibly romantic, with the most wonderful display of blush florals and ribbons and gold calligraphy and favours and I don’t want to spoil any more but let’s just say there are so many beautiful things and lovely ideas to swoon over and inspire you.
Louise also give’s a wonderful account of how she chose her mythical princess bridal look, which I absolutely adore, her headpiece alone is truly exquisite let alone her gorgeous custom made gown. Then there is the unconventional but fabulous choice of readings and hymns, plus a handmade wedding present from the Groom that is sure to get him brownie points for life!
This has to be the MUST SEE wedding of 2016, if you miss this you will most certainly miss out. You’ve been warned. It may also be a good idea to get those pinning fingers at the ready….
The palest of pink blooms, pretty fairy lights and little metallic touches are always a winning combination and even more so when they are in a gorgeous venue like Almonry Barn. One of our Love Lust List recommended venues, Almonry Barn has the same historical protected status as Stone Henge – and is believed to be the oldest wedding barn in the UK, but it has been beautifully and sympathetically restored making it a truly striking place to get married, as you can see. Images come from Julie Michaelsen and the lovely film is from Ross Haley.
