Charlotte & Ryan

ALL the pretty ladies and ALL the pretty details feature in this rustic, home-spun wedding at a secret Grade II listed barn in Essex. There are gorgeous dresses and gorgeous blooms galore and I think this is going to be one of those weddings that everyone loves. The guests, as well as Charlotte & Ryan, look like they are having the best day ever and fun seems to be what is on everyone’s minds.

The perfect man for capturing this then, was the inimitable Chris Barber, whose creative, honest and silly (in the best possible way) style brings the whole day to life for us now…

Gemma & Gareth

It’s always lovely when the Bride & Groom know the photographer, they tend to let their guard down a little bit more, allowing the fabulous Jason Mark Harris to do what he does best and capture all those special moments. Including Groom Gareth serenading his new Wife.

After you’ve swooned over all the emotion your eye will most definitely be drawn to all the fabulous fashion. The groomsmen don Harris Tweed jackets, perfect for The Ashes Barns wedding, and the bridesmaids pop against the country setting in different coloured dresses from For Her and For Him. And how can I forget Bride Gemma who customised her sweetheart gown with a Justin Alexander Jacket so she could have long sleeves. Just beautiful.

Kate & Andrew

Kate & Andrew tied the knot at beautiful Cotswolds venue Merriscourt, which provided the perfect blank canvas to their rustic wedding day. Kate’s gorgeous ladies wore mis-matched pastel dresses from House Of Fraser. Top marks to them all for creating such a lovely palette of colours.

Kate is every inch the glowing bride in classic lace with vintage style hair and make-up. With wild flower bouquets, bright crocheted table centrepieces, and test tube tea favours, I know this is a wedding you’re going to love.

Clare & James

We’ve got another beautifully styled wedding for you this afternoon – from gorgeous North East venue Lartington Hall. Clare and James embraced an all white colour scheme complete with metallic pops, lots of candles and foliage and oh my goodness IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I think the table plan is one of the loveliest, most delicate I’ve ever seen, make sure you look out for it. Their favours are adorable too.

This gorgeous day has been captured by one of our absolute favourite photographers, Sarah Jane Ethan, who always gets incredible images of both the detail AND the emotional moments, that will both bring tears to your eyes and a smile to your face. Happy Friday everyone and apologies (again) for the overdose of pretty…it’s been another fabulous week!

Anna & Tim

The flowers in this mornings wedding are simply beautiful. The Garden Gate Flower Company grow all of their blooms organically on a Cornish farm and arrange them in such a creative yet organic way, that they will have your heart skipping a beat. The spring blossom chandelier is one of the prettiest floral arrangements I’ve ever seen.

In fact, this whole wedding is just brimming with artistic touches and so it comes as no surprise that the Bride, Anna, is a stationer, who has produced work for M&S and Paperchase. So naturally, she created the stationery for her own wedding, using a palette of charcoal grey, white and a subtle pinky peach.

Anyone who reads the blog regularly will know I’m a big fan of a rustic marquee wedding, and I just love how stylish this one is – the tables and chairs from Virginia’s Vintage Hire really help to make the tent look inviting, and the relaxed way of serving food just makes it into a big party. Oh, and anyone worrying about the weather for their big day should remember that Anna and Tim took to choppy waters to get to their wedding reception – a little bit of rain didn’t stop them 😉

Gemma & James

Oh everything about this wedding is just so gorgeous!! We do love a travel theme, especially when combined with pastel blooms and the most heavenly of settings – Cortijo Pedro Jimenez with it’s pool, coastal views and private grounds really is the ultimate place for a destination wedding.

Gemma looks so beautiful too, her classic Justin Alexander gown fits her like a glove and her Halo & Co headpiece is just so sparkly! We love it.

Charmaine & Ed

You know you’re in for a treat when you get the fabulous husband and wife duo and Love Lust List members Anna Clarke Photography and Simon Clarke Films capturing your day, and what a wedding it was!

Although our beautiful couple married in Autumn there is a magical Christmas feel to their wedding. It could be Bride Charmaine’s glamorous Justin Alexander wedding dress, fur stole and red lip combo or maybe her Bridesmaids fancy black lace No.1 by Jenny Packham frocks. But I also think the super luxe mercury glass votives with overflowing white blooms, succulents and simple yet stunning gypsophila that looks like snow drops add to the pure magic and sparkle too.

Charmaine & Ed were so super savvy when it came to creating their overall look on a budget. They’ve got a wealth of handy DIY tips, crafts and places to shop so you too can achieve your dream day whilst holding on to more of your hard earned pennies.

Danielle & Adrian

SO much love and dedication went into this fabulous 1950s retro inspired wedding day in Northern Ireland, including crafty DIY decor galore, gorgeous invitations and SO much more.

The full skirt power blue bridesmaid dresses and adorable matching fitted cardigans are so apt for the 1950s era, not to mention Danielle’s stunning tea length Justin Alexander gown and birdcage veil, which I have to say makes her look like the perfect hollywood starlet.

And how can I forget their vintage car….which along with the derelict buildings make for some super cool portraits, all cleverly captured by Paula Gillespie Photography.

Gemma & Alfie

I really REALLY love this morning’s wedding. I mean how can you not like a wedding that comes complete with cones of chips around a bonfire, accompanied by a lot of sparklers, marshmallows and homemade toffee apples for the evening festivities. In all seriousness though Gemma and Alfie’s wedding comes with bags of personality and Autumnal flavour.

There are so many gorgeous touches that I don’t know what to pick out first; there’s Gemma’s oh so pretty floral crown and the fact that the Groom and Groomsmen wore tweed paired with burgundy trousers (they look flipping ACE!), the rustically styled tables (proof that you don’t need to go overboard to make something look absolutely phenomenal) and the breakdancing and the coral and pink bouquets and OH I could go on and on and on.

I’ll stop waffling and you can take a look for yourselves.
