Real Bride and Groom, Zara and Dan have to be one of the most fabulous boho couples we’ve had grace RMW. They decided they wanted to marry at home on their farm in Cumbria hiring a bamboo geodome to house their creative wedding decor. Which included edible flower cakes, handmade macrame bunting and incredible spring flowers gathered from hedgerows in their garden. It was a real family affair, with their children performing readings and playing music during the wedding ceremony and everyone enjoying homemade Elderflower champagne and sloe gin. Just wait until you see Zara’s Rue de Seine wedding dress and crown combo too. All the heart eyes.
When you think of boho, you think of relaxed, laid back vibes, and that is everything this inspiration shoot at Wildnerness Weddings venue in Kent encompasses. Making this extra special is the Rue De Seine boho wedding dress, amazing dried flower displays, a grazing table under a naked tipi and a general feeling of happiness. Jo Bradbury captures the light so beautifully you’ll be forgiven for thinking we’ve whisked you off abroad, so sit back Margarita in hand and enjoy.
When you have a tipi wedding, you kind of have no choice but to go big. There’s a lot to organise, from the land, to the toilets, from the generator to the furniture, but when you get it right…it’s SO worth it, as Tanya and Alex’s gorgeous wedding shows. This is a perfect example of how to do a tipi wedding, lush cosy styling, lots of fairy lights and embracing those bohemian vibes (hello gorgeous Tanya, a Rue De Seine bride through and through).
Dan from Story + Colour captures the atmosphere created in the tipi’s with amazing results. Everything looks magical…
Feel good festival vibes and fabulous fashion aplenty define this fun filled wedding at The Fire Pit Camp, Norfolk. Lauren looks every inch the bohemian bride in Rue De Seine, and naturally we’re loving the bridesmaids in all white dresses. (Missed our bridesmaids fashion podcast? You can listen in full here!)
Images come from the lovely Honey & The Moon Photography, who Lauren and Joe found right here on RMW and decided to fly them over from Ireland especially to shoot their big day. As well as these ladies, there’s a whole host of our favourite wedding suppliers involved, so enjoy! It’s a good one…
Faye is one of those brides you instantly wish was your friend. Not only did she include a giant model zebra in her wedding decor, but when it came to bridesmaids dresses, this gorgeous lady ordered a load from the internet and set up a bridesmaids boutique in her own living room for her friends to select their favourite gowns, complete with mannequins. What a woman.
As you’d expect from a stylist, this wedding is gorgeous to look at, but also full of fun! Faye and Oli are clearly a couple who like to enjoy themselves and they wanted their guests to enjoy themselves too. Choosing the stunning Walled Garden in Nottingham for it’s relaxed, outdoor vibes, Faye wore a stunning Kimono sleeved Rue De Seine gown, and the boho vibes flowed all day long.
I remember the first Rue De Seine bride we blogged. It was the gorgeous Tessa and I’d never seen a dress like it. Since then Rue De Seine have gone from strength to strength, with a global presence in bridal boutiques, huge instagram following and it-girl status when it comes to dressing brides. Their customers are stylish, bohemian goddesses who absolutely own their gowns.
It’s a real pleasure to share the UK exclusive of Rue De Seine’s latest collection today. Wild Heart encompasses everything we know and love about the brand, true to their New Zealand roots, authentic to their house style, while always channelling a wanderlust filled, free spirited vibe, I have a feeling you’re going to love these dresses…
