The List {Aneberry}

As a lunchtime treat, today we're talking to Miao, founder of Aneberry. When searching for her own bridal gown Miao was faced with the world of budget blowing dream dresses and further alteration charges to ensure the perfect fit and not long after came the Aneberry vision. Not content with her own experience she wanted to change the way other brides were faced with the bridal gown search, and creation. Soon, she had launched a made-to-measure bridal gown service at affordable costs, and we think they are a brilliant option for our super stylish brides to be. Miao: At Aneberry we make beautiful made-to-measure wedding dresses at an affordable price.
 We take a different approach from traditional bridal brands. Each dress is tailored to fit our bride’s unique body shape. Our dresses are designed in-house and we sell them directly to our customers from our London boutique, so we can deliver beautiful, high quality and well-fitted wedding dresses for a lower price.  

How did you launch Aneberry?

Aneberry was launched on my own wedding day on 1 July 2017. I wore the dress ‘Beca’ from my collection and it was a great way to show off one of Aneberry's dresses to my family and friends. I was delighted by how many compliments I received about my dress. Unlike other bridal brands typically created by a designer, Aneberry was created by a bride who not only wanted a high quality well fitted dress which she could afford but to help other brides do the same.  

What’s your process and when should brides contact you?

Our process is simple, brides book an appointment with us at our London showroom, choose a style from our collections and get measured, then we’ll make the dress based on their measurements in 4 months. I think the best time to start searching for a wedding dress is 6-9 months before the wedding. We suggest our brides order their dress 6 months in advance, so they can get the dress 2 months before their wedding.  

How would you describe Aneberry as a brand?

Aneberry stands for natural beauty and happiness. We encourage our brides to be confident with their natural look. For our product images, we use makeup to enhance our models’ natural features rather than covering them up with heavy layers. We choose size 10 models as we want to promote natural body images.  

Why are Aneberry dresses so special?

Our dresses are individually made to fit each bride’s unique body shape, so you feel comfortable and look amazing on your wedding day. 
Our dresses are made using the finest materials, there are built-in corsets & underskirts, lining layers and embellishments on each of the dresses, so they look absolutely beautiful.
