Inspiration

From the splendour of Trinity College Chapel to the deep green gardens of Tinakilly House, this wedding was a romantic whirlwind from start to finish. Even the Irish rain couldn't dampen the infectious smiles and love! And don't even get us started on the beautiful details of Rochelle's Emma Beaumont gown... She and William extended their celebrations with their closest family and friends by having Tinakilly house to themselves for the weekend. Weekend weddings are something we are definitely on board with, and in somewhere as beautiful as Northern Ireland? We think the question isn't why, but why on earth not!

We lost my dad a month before the wedding. So the decision to go ahead with the date and to go through with the day without such an important person there was heart breaking and so difficult. However, living through that did put everything into perspective. It meant that we made our wedding day completely about us and our marriage.

THE DRESS

We know we said don't get us started on the Emma Beaumont dress, but come on. It's way too beautiful to ignore. The classical capped sleeves with a pearl encrusted trim are pure elegance. In fact, the pearl detailing all over the gown has us in awe. Paired with a headpiece and veil that are giving Kate Middleton a run for her money, the whole look has us inspired! There we go, we're done. Although, those gold Jimmy Choos are catching the light quite nicely...

THE DAY

It was important to Rochelle and William they got married at Trinity College Chapel as that was where it all started for them. Following a beautiful church ceremony, they drove off to Tinakilly house in a classic forest green MG with big waves and even bigger smiles. They shot some gorgeous photos in the rain-covered grounds and then strolled hand-in-hand into their rustic reception and danced the night away. We couldn't have planned it better ourselves!

Spend quality time with your loved ones by having a weekend wedding at one venue.

When we found Tinakilly house we fell in love with the relaxed and vinatge fell of the place. The fact it was able to accommodate all of our guests and had a great menu was a bonus! We had the place to ourselves for the weekend which made it all the more special.

William & Rochelle

Rochelle and William have shown us that finding time to celebrate love can bring joy even during the most difficult of times. If you're looking for a place to celebrate with your closest family and friends, we've got a whole host of Recommended venues for your day (or weekend...). However if our gushing over Rochelle's Emma Beaumont gown got you inspired, we have more where that came from. You're welcome!
