WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE
"We wanted the day to be a real celebration between our two families. We wanted it to be fun, relaxed and intimate but also to involve some really good food and wine! Our wedding ceremony took place at Chelsea Old Town Hall. It's just down the road from where we live and having walked past the famous steps outside it on so many occasions it was completely surreal to be the bride and groom making our confetti exit there! After the ceremony, we headed to The River Cafe for a celebratory lunch. The River Cafe is such a special place for Will and I. Over the years many celebrations have taken place there so it seemed the obvious place to celebrate our wedding day. Also, the food is incredible!! Both locations were perfect for our intimate wedding" - Kate & Will
Town Hall Wedding LondonThis Town Hall wedding London was an intimate and personal affair. Chelsea Town Hall is just down the road from where the Bride and Groom reside, so it was a no brainer for them to tie the knot there. The big red bus played cheesy wedding tunes that the guests sang to, dancing their way to the wedding meal at another meaningful and sentimental venue to the couple, The River Cafe.
INSPIRATION & STYLING
"My dress was from Zimmerman and I paired it with a pair of pink espadrille wedges from Castaner. My earrings from Soru were a last-minute addition to the outfit but I'm so glad I put them on as I rushed out the door! I wanted my outfit to feel special but also to feel like me. Will and I hadn't discussed our outfits beforehand so it was such a great coincidence that we had colour coordinated so well with the pinks! Will's mum Fiona made my bouquet and Will's buttonhole using flowers from her garden. They were so pretty and summery and I loved the colours." - Kate & Will
