Today, UK Black Pride turns 15 and we thought that was something well worth celebrating. UK Black Pride provides a safe space for LGBTQ+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Latin American descent. Founded by Lady Phyll back in 2005, it has grown into a movement supporting and celebrating the LGBTQ community. The theme for this years UK Black Pride is 'Home'. If you want to join in today you can visit Black Pride UK where the celebrations will begin at 12 midday until 6pm. Representation is so important to us at Rock My Wedding and we love sharing your LGBTQ+ weddings. We really want to encourage you, especially if you are from one of the communities celebrated during Black Pride, to submit your wedding photos to us, share your engagement stories with us and your experiences of planning your wedding. We'd also love to know of LGBTQ owned wedding businesses or suppliers that you have worked with when planning your weddings so we can elevate their voices and continue to improve diversity and inclusion across our platforms, ensuring that everybody feels welcome here, all the time. You can email us with your recommendations at thelist@rockmywedding.co.uk with any suppliers that you think we should add to our community of recommended suppliers. We really hope to share more proud, diverse LGBTQ+ weddings and we hope you enjoy the selection of weddings and shoots below. Happy UK Black Pride everyone x
