Autumn Villa di Ulignano Wedding
Photography by Claire PennLet’s make our way to the Tuscan countryside for a fairytale Villa Di Ulignano wedding. Danielle and Lewis said their vows in front of rolling hills as the sun shone around them. Surrounded by their close family and friends, this beautiful couple allowed the venue to speak for itself, complete with relaxed and rustic styling. With a blend of warm colours, a dash of gold, and mismatched bridesmaids' gowns, each aspect works perfectly alongside the backdrop of Volterra.

The ceremony overlooked the rolling landscape of Volterra. Including a small selection of our closest friends and family, despite being postponed due to Covid. The Italian delicatessen, warm glow of flowers and stunning array of decor made our day stand out and will be treasured by all that attended.

SUPPLIERS
We used Rock My Wedding, which lead us to our photographer Claire Penn. We sourced all Italian vendors through our wedding planner who we found online. Our photographer recommended our videographer, having lost our original booking during Covid. We chose companies through thorough research and countless references. La Lista was a brilliant tool in getting honest feedback about suppliers in Italy.
VIBE
We had always dreamed of a relaxed, rustic and romantic atmosphere and the styling was integral in achieving this. From splashing in the villa pool with friends in the mid-morning sun to the crescendo of candlelight in the evening. The speeches were a whirlwind of laughter and fun at a time when we all needed it most. The style was a blend of warm colours, edged with gold and had to be mis-matched just like my bridesmaid's dresses.
We love Lewis & Danielle’s choice to make a traditional millefoglie - delicious and fun!
Our advice to couples planning their wedding would definitely be, to choose what YOU love. Your wedding day should reflect you as a couple. If that's different to tradition or what others think then so be it. As long as you love all the elements you have picked, then you will love your day and look back with no regrets.
