Wedding Curtain Backdrop & Family Pet

Photography by Through The Woods We Ran

A dog in a bowtie? A wedding curtain backdrop? Recommended Supplier Stone Barn? Tick. We’re not quite sure what else we need… Meg & Tim’s wedding was a beautifully relaxed day filled with plenty of colour! They were married by Meg’s brother, with their dog Murphy sitting at their feet. They served welcome drinks pre-ceremony, and had a feast style sharing menu. Their day was all about who they are as a couple, and we absolutely love it! And yes, we may be bias because there is a dog involved - but he also happens to be a little bit famous, maybe you recognise Murphy from The Supervet

Our venue was quite rustic so we wanted lots of colour, texture and modern signage to play on the more industrial side of the barn. General vibe was relaxed, simplistic and colourful. We just wanted a really relaxed fun day with all of our favourite people, so tried to do away with formalities as much as possible.

I'm sure every couple who've gone through it will say this, but really do try to compartmentalise the wedmin in the run up to the big day. Make sure you have wedmin free evenings, as it can definitely become all-consuming towards the end and dominate most conversations. Another cliche, but really do try and savour the day! Take some moments together just the two of you to let it all soak in.
