Hands up if you now want a wedding dress with bow on back? *Immediately puts both hands in the air… and feet*. Let’s just take a little moment to appreciate the beauty of Annabel & James’ big day! Their venue, Stock Farm, provided a rustic style, that was enhanced by their green & whites colour scheme. Their table centrepieces were made by James’s father, using wood pieces, logs and tea light holders. The confetti was also grown and dried by their friends and family! Now that’s something Recycle appreciates… Mother Nature approves.

Our main aim for the day was to enjoy having as many of the special people in our lives all under one roof. This was something we had never had before, and we were excited to make that happen! We wanted the day to feel relaxed and fun - we just wanted to see everyone have a good time.
STYLE
Stock Farm as a venue is beautiful already, and lent itself easily to a relaxed and more rustic wedding. We bought a lot of the vases from IKEA, which were used on tables, and around the room to hold the bridesmaids bouquets.
SCRATCH CARDS
We made our own scratch cards and hid them on the underside of all the guests chairs. At the end of the speeches everyone was asked to check. There were a number of winners dotted around the room who won a bottle of Prosecco from the bar!
ADVICE
We picked our joint 5 priorities (things we didn't want to compromise on), anything not on that list we were prepared to be more flexible about. Everyone told us that the day goes quick, but we didn't believe how quick it would go!
Annabel & James picked 5 priorities for their wedding day to ensure they could focus on specific aspects rather than stressing about the unnecessary!
James' uncle generously loaned us the use of a classic e-type white Jaguar for James to drive from the church to Stock Farm. Driving away (without stalling) as husband and wife, with so many of our loved ones cheering was one of our favourite moments. It was lovely to spend that time together before seeing everyone again to celebrate in style!
