How many can you cater for?

We have a selection of private dining rooms. Our two smallest rooms are perfect for an intimate occasion for 2 - 16 guests (we can even provide witnesses if you'd like it to just be the two of you!) whilst our larger Shelley and Wakehurst suites can host a wedding for up to 80 guests (or 120 for an evening party).

Where can we get married?

Our Churchill private room is licenced for a ceremony as are our larger Percy and Shelley Suites. In the warmer months we have a pretty enclosed garden complete with wedding gazebo for an al fresco ceremony and your guests will be able to to move straight to the terrace afterwards for cocktails.

What sort of food & drink do you offer?

When reserving the Shelley the wedding garden or shady terrace are yours for an elegant cocktail & canapé reception in the summer months. When reserving the Churchill or Asquith gather your party on the lawn for drinks and photographs. In the winter, warming beef & Yorkshire pudding canapés are a delight, served alongside our house spiced Glühwein by sparkling candelight. Or perhaps you prefer sliders and local cider with hay bales & bunting? Anything is possible... We are extremely proud of our food at Alexander House. if you opt for one of our intimate rooms we are able to offer a choice of menu for your guests. Using only the freshest of ingredients, many from Sussex our chefs craft beautiful dishes that reflect the seasons. If you're having a larger occasion in the Percy and Shelley suites choose from a barbeque, buffet or seated wedding breakfast.

We have 56 fabulously glamorous rooms & suites so plenty of space for your guests to stay over. And of course we are pleased to extend some preferential rates for you & your guests.
