Wonderful Winter Wedding! We got married at Blairquhan on the 23rd of November 2019. After researching online we visited a few venues around Ayrshire. In the flesh, Blairquhan was the stand out venue by miles; understated grandeur and an amazing warmth and ambience that made us feel at home the moment we arrived. In addition to the castle accommodations, the estate also had a number of cottages where we could accommodate guests. This was important to us as many of our guests would be travelling. After our visit, we both knew we wanted to married there. We made our wedding a weekend affair and hired the venue from Friday through to Sunday. The staff were absolutely amazing. Lovely Libby was our planner and she really got stuck in to help in the preparations. She helped us to find local suppliers and was very knowledgeable about the history of Blairquhan. We couldn't have done it without her. Masterful Martin was our master of ceremony and headed up the evening team. He was fab. The team really couldn't have done more for us to ensure that our plans went without a hitch. They really looked after us and our guests and everyone commented on how lovely they were. It is a special skill to make somewhere so grand feel like home. We had the most magical wedding ceremony followed by a fabulous reception with wonderful canapés prepared by the catering team. The wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious and all of our guests were highly complimentary about the food and service throughout the day. The venue and grounds offer many wonderful backdrops for photographs and we have some great ones as mementoes of our special day. Our wedding was just perfect and we want to come back and live at Blairquhan!! Couldn't recommend it enough.

Unforgettable wedding!!! What a gorgeous venue and gardens. Online photos don't do it justice. My fiancee and I were speechless when we walked in and saw it for the first time - after 8 months of long-distance planning from the US. Tracey and the castle staff made us feel like royals from the first moment. Also, the food was spectacular. Incredibly delicious. Thank you for the best day of our lives.

We had the most amazing wedding at Blairquhan on 10 March 2018. The grounds and castle itself are 5 stars, but the staff and people there are really what made it so spectacular. They were incredibly helpful and patient as we planned our wedding from Chicago and London. They went above and beyond in making our wedding weekend exactly how we envisioned it. From our first enquiry email to saying goodbye on Sunday morning after our wedding, Tracey, Anne and the whole team took care of us with extra detail and care. Additionally, the food was exquisite! The rooms were spacious and our guests loved being able to stay on the premises in the self-serving cottages. We loved having most of our guests at Blairquhan with us all weekend - it made for such a unique experience. We cannot recommend Blairquhan enough. Thank you to everyone who made our weekend one we will never forget.

I got married here in 2016. Could not have picked a better wedding venue. Was just stunning. The staff were just an absolute credit loved them so much. But the top marks go to their wedding organiser Tracy. Still love her to bits. Would recommend anyone to get married here. You will not regret it.

My husband and I got married here in August and would definitely recommend it as a wedding venue! Both the venue and the grounds are stunning! We rented the venue and all the cottages from Friday to Sunday, it was an amazing weekend! The staff could not have done more to support us on the run up to the wedding or to make our guests feel welcome - everyone commented on how nice the staff were as well as how great the food was! Thank you Ann, Tracey, Martin, Calum, Gail and the rest of the team for everything you did.
