FAQS
How many can Boconnion sleep?
The Manor House can sleep 15 and the Barton sleeps 12. We also have a third property 5 mins walk sleeping 8. For additional guests, there is plenty of room for glamping or camping on the estate and local accommodation in the area.
Is there a bed schedule?
Couples will be responsible to allocate their guests to bedrooms and properties across the estate. You will receive a bed schedule to help with this.
Does Boconnion have a licence for Civil Ceremonies?
No, we do not. Boconnion hosts Celebrant led weddings and do not have a licence for civil ceremonies.
Can we get married elsewhere and have our reception at Boconnion?
If a celebrant led ceremony is not for you the beautiful local church of St Helena in the village of Helland is 5 minutes drive from Boconnion. You are welcome to have your ceremony there and continue your celebrations on the estate. Boconnion is a minimum of a two day hire.
Can we put a marquee up in the grounds?
We welcome marquee events as we have several locations for marquees throughout the estate. We work closely with Absolute Canvas marquees and can help organise what you need. Whether you are looking for a small or large celebration Boconnion has many beautiful backdrops to host your event. There is an additional charge of £1,000 for all marquee weddings and this does not include the cost of the marquee hired.
Are dogs welcome?
Boconnion welcomes all dogs throughout the year. We kindly ask that during some months of the year when the livestock are in the fields that dogs are kept on their leads when outside.
Is Boconnion Child Friendly?
There is ample room for children to explore the estate if you choose to include children. They are certainly welcome. We have a great children’s entertainer available during your wedding or nanny service for one of two nights. We ask that parents ensure they are accompanied by an adult at all times to ensure their safety around the swimming pool and grounds.
