What is the Venue Capacity?
Our venue capacity is 160 guests maximum. For larger guest numbers a bespoke marquee can be built in the grounds of Capesthorne. The Drawing Room - Capacity of 100 for a Civil Ceremony. The Queen Anne Room - Capacity of 95 for a Civil Ceremony. The Lakeside - Capacity of 160 for a Civil Ceremony. The Drawing Room - Capacity of 70 for Formal Dining. The Queen Anne Room - Capacity of 80 for Formal Dining. The Lakeside - Capacity of 160 for Formal Dining.
Can you use External Caterers?
No. We have four contracted caterers we ask you to choose from: Cheeky Chilli Events, Vanilla in All Seasons, Barrets Catering, Chapman Holmes Catering and Events. If you require alternative cuisine please get in touch, as we ask you to choose from our list of recommended suppliers.
Is there Accomodation on Site?
Yes! We have accommodation on site for up to 24 guests. This is made up of two Cottages and six Luxury Lodges.
Can we have a Religious Ceremony?
We can offer a Chapel Blessing, in our very own Chapel at Capesthorne Hall, on top of your legal ceremony. This is a perfect addition to a Civil Ceremony if you are wanting a religious aspect to your Wedding Day. The Chapel can hold up to 75 of your closest friends and family.
Are we allowed Fireworks?
Yes! However this is at an additional cost. Fireworks are allowed on Friday and Saturday nights. We ask you to use our preferred supplier, Lightech.
