We used Coastal Tents for our wedding in August and were really pleased with the service! Carla and Owen were really helpful at their open days and talked us through all the details to ensure we got the set up we wanted. They were also really helpful with putting us in contact with other suppliers. On the day we were quite unlucky with the weather and had incredibly high winds! Owen made sure the tent was secure and was onsite early to make sure everything ran smoothly. When we were in the tent you would never have known what the weather was like outside. The Tents themselves were beautiful and really were the focal point of the entire day. Our guests were in awe and all said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Carla and Owen are both really friendly and we would definitely recommend Coastal Tents to anyone thinking of having a Tipi wedding!

We got married in May 2019 and could not rate Coastal Tents more highly! The service we received throughout was wonderful and Owen was fantastic at working with our venue who had not had a marquee wedding before. The tents are also beautiful and we loved all the extras to create just the atmosphere we wanted. We could not fault in any way and have recommended to lots of our friends since!

We cannot rate Carla, Owen and the team highly enough for everything that they did for us at our summer woodland wedding. We hired a sailcloth tent which fitted perfectly with the relaxed summer wedding that we had hoped for, as well as hiring tables, chairs and ceremony benches. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, from advising us, supporting decisions and altering our order at the last minute to accommodate changes in numbers and the great British weather! The team worked smoothly with all other suppliers (venue, caters, bar) in the run up to the wedding which meant much less stress and pressure on us to co-ordinate everyone - it made for an easy and enjoyable wedding set up! From our first cup of coffee with Owen we knew we were in safe hands. He thought of everything! Whether it was tent positioning to ensure the best view, hanging up flower installations, laying down matting to avoid the mud, suggesting table layouts, to coordinating with our other suppliers and suggesting ideas for the bar and displaying our cake; the Coastal Tents team always had a reassuring solution, a creative idea and were quick to respond. They made our lives very easy and helped make our vision for our tipis a reality. The weather in the run up to our wedding day was very unpredictable and Owen was quick to suggest moving the location in the field to ensure the tipis were safe in the wind. We were hugely grateful for his quick thinking, calm approach and sense of humour. In the end, the only things that blew away on our wedding day were a few hats! I couldn't recommend working with Carla and Owen more. Their tipis provide a beautiful canvas for wedding receptions and parties of all types. Our tipis filled with April spring flowers in oranges and pinks, beautiful candles and fairy lights and lots of guests merrily enjoying glasses of champagne was truly memorable and in-keeping with the Dorset countryside. We just wish we could do it all over again!

We hired the beautiful sailcloth tent for our Spring wedding which provided the ideal set up for our big day in May 2019. The whole team were great during the build-up and setting everything up a couple of days before, ensuring everything went smoothly and making sure we had all that we needed. The tent really did look amazing and all the extra details – glitter ball, rustic pallet bar, festoon walkway, outdoor seating, wooden dance floor etc – provided the icing on the cake. We chose the sailcloth for its beautiful simplicity (it’s incredibly light and bright with clear side panels and exposed wood poles) and the fact it’s so different to any other wedding marquee we’d seen before. We would recommend Coastal Tents to anyone looking for a special tent for their wedding or any other party!
