How much space do I need?
This depends on your guest numbers and how you would like to use the Tipis i.e. dining, dance floor, chill out space. Head over to our website to find out more about our different marquee sizes. Our Tipis and Sailcloth Tents are flexible and can accommodate anything from 20 guests up to 300. We also have example floor plans in our Bells & Whistles brochure.
Where can we put your marquees?
Anywhere that is flat enough, large enough, has access and you can hammer stakes in to the ground (although we can put them up on a hard standing if necessary). We have put them up everywhere from manicured lawns and stately homes to farmers fields and private gardens.
What is the flooring like?
Made in the uk our synthetic Dandy Dura matting is the perfect way to create a seamless finish inside the tent. We supply a waterproof membrane underneath all our matting. It is also very high heel proof! if you feel you want a harder surface, we do offer a hard floor options. We normally suggest clients have this for events in the winter months.
Will we need a generator?
Your power requirements are mostly dictated by your caterer. We will ask you about all your suppliers power needs (bands, photo booth, bar etc) and will find out about your venues facilities on your site visit. We will then be able to provide you with a generator to cover all your needs. We will even install the cables and distribution to make sure to get power exactly where you need it.
Can we see the Tipis and Sailcloth Tents before our wedding?
YES! We host 2 open weekends in spring and autumn. We get our Tipis and Sailcloth up and decorated so you can experience what it is like to be in them. We work with some amazing suppliers so it is the perfect opportunity to get oodles of inspiration as well as meeting with us to talk about your plans.
