FAQS

Can we hire the house?

No, the gardens, woodlands and meadows are available for marquee and outdoor weddings but we do not have any indoor space for hire.

What spaces can we hire?

We have 4 different locations around the Estate to hire. Badgers Garden, The Walled Garden Meadow, Golden Meadow and Fishponds. Each and everyone of our couples uses the grounds in a different way. Arrange a site visit and we'll explore with you to find the perfect spot.

Are you registered for Civil Ceremonies?

I'm afraid we are not licensed for civil ceremonies but celebrant led, spiritual or cultural ceremonies are welcomed.

Can we bring our own suppliers?

Yes we are a dry hire venue so you are welcome to use your own suppliers for everything as long as they have all the relevant health and safety documentation and are approved by us ahead of the event.

What do you provide as part of the package?

Yes, we only host a few exclusive events each year. You get access to the venue exclusively for 5 days to allow for set up and breakdown of your structures. We are a dry hire venue so you will need to provide all power, toilets, structures, kitchens etc. If you need a little help with this we have an event partner, Big Green Space, who would be delighted to help and advise you on all the logistics and planning.
