Well, what can I say, we got married here on Saturday,  would I recommend this place to anyone. Yes, I would and more, we could not of asked for a better day and venue to use for our special day. The whole place was 6 star, from the staff that could not of done anymore for you, to the rooms and the house that is stunning from the moment you walk into the grounds and into the house.   The food was also 6 stars and everyone i spoken to at our wedding was saying how good the food was and also that it was one of the best weddings they have been to.  I just wish I could rewind and do it all again,  but memories made that will last a lifetime.

We got married at Grittleton House at the weekend and could not be more pleased with our choice of venue. From start to finish Emma and the team were incredible. They were so accommodating to all of our requests which made the whole process as stress-free as possible and enjoyable. The venue itself is breath-taking! We and all of our guests were astounded by its beauty - Vanessa and Michael have done a wonderful job making it a place of pure luxury whilst maintaining its original charm and features and the bedrooms are fit for royalty! The food was absolutely delicious, with many of our guests saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! Overall, Grittleton House and the team were faultless. We could not recommend the venue more highly and hope we get to go back one day. It made our special day the absolute best it could be. If we could give them 11/10 we absolutely would! 

Where do I begin! We got married at Grittleton House in May and it was the best decision we made in the whole wedding process. We originally found Grittleton in 2020 and loved it online, but when we visited in person, we knew it was the one as soon as we drove down the drive. The house itself is beautiful and the gardens are stunning, but our absolute favourite part was the Orangery which is perfect if you want the light and atmosphere of an outdoor ceremony but without any of the stress about the weather. This venue doesn’t feel at all corporate or like you’re ‘just another wedding’ - it has all the magic and personal touches of feeling like it’s your own house, but all the upsides of everyone we dealt with being so helpful, organised, and professional. Which brings me to Emma, the venue coordinator at Grittleton and just an absolute superstar. She is impeccably organised, and nothing was too much trouble, no matter how many questions I had for her. It’s so rare to find somebody who pays as much care and attention to detail to everything as you do for your own wedding, but Emma is that person! She made what could have been a stressful process much less stressful and we can’t thank her enough. All the staff on the day were also fantastic and we had so many lovely comments about the venue. If you’re thinking about booking, do it!

Me and my husband got married at the end of May 2022 and our whole experience with Grittleton House was magical!! The day completely exceeded all our expectations and it was truly the wedding day we imagined and more! We are so so grateful to the lovely, helpful and kind staff who run Grittleton House. The venue is stunning and has many room options that can be used on your special day for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception, along with a beautiful spacious room for the bridal party to get ready in and also the amazing surrounding grounds! Everything we chose for our big day from the cocktails to canapés to food were perfect! The planning process was also so smooth and stress free! The team were always on hand to answer any queries and arrange meetings and they were also fantastic on the morning of our wedding when displaying our decorations as we wished! (A special shout out to Emma, Vanessa and Nelson - thank you!). We loved this venue, it was the most beautiful day and our guests to this day, cannot stop complementing the beauty of the venue, the staff, the amazing food and our wedding day as a whole! Thank you so so much, we wish we could do it all over again!

We could not have asked for a better venue; the whole team made our special day amazing! The staff were fantastic, they were all happy, polite and hardworking anything we needed they were able to sort. The venue was set up perfectly and is one of the most amazing places I have ever visited, they had everything we needed and the team made sure that everything ran smoothly and most importantly that we did not need to worry about anything on the day! All of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was and the gardens, they also commented on how amazing and accommodating all of the staff was. I would recommend Grittleton and team to anyone as it made our day even more perfect. The food, wow! The food was amazing everything was perfect and most of all there was no full plates left, everyone said how amazing the food was.
