How long do we get the venue for?
Two full days so you can really enjoy your time with us rather than being rushed. Weekend hire is 9am Friday to 3pm Sunday. Mid-week hire is midday Tuesday to midday Thursday.
Are set suppliers included or can we choose our own?
There are no set suppliers so you can choose whoever sits with your style and budget. You'll need to source a caterer and a DJ or Band. You can bring your own drinks (no corkage charge) or you can hire in a cash bar. And you can decorate as little or as much as you like! And if you can decide, we have a sourcebook or recommended suppliers who we trust.
What's included in the hire fee?
Pretty much everything! Full use of the Tipi venue and everything in it for your hire period. All furniture, lighting, sound system, fire pits, electricity, water, heating, toilets, showers, weddings suite. In fact, the only thing not included, are our 12 on-site bell tents which your family and guests can hire for a reasonable extra charge if they wish. See our website for full details.
Do you have any on-site accommodation?
Yes we do! The wedding suite is a cute en-suite shepherds hut and is included in the hire fee. Our 12 on-site bell tents are charged for a very reasonable extra fee and your family and guests can book these direct with us via our website. All of our accommodation comes with very comfortable king-sized beds. And we have a shower block for any glampers or campers to freshen up.
Are there any restictions?
Yes, but only a few! The major one relates to music - only one night of 'partying' - that being the main wedding day, not the setting up or clearing down days. All amplified music (DJ, Band or iPad) must be played through our in-house sound system and the main party music must finish at midnight. Background level music can then be played into the small hours of the morning.
