Croftview’ is a stunning venue with luxurious ensuite accommodation in a dozen or more rooms. We had 30 people stay overnight and almost 80 for our attended our evening reception; everyone commented on what a fantastic venue we had chosen. They were not wrong! The large outdoor lawn with the Wedding Pagoda space offers the most perfect location with far reaching views across the Somerset countryside. Perfect for wedding photos our photographers noted. The property itself is is wonderfully appointed throughout with accommodation over three levels. The ground floor accommodation provides more specific access requirements, such as for those who happen to be a wheelchair user. The bridal suite was stunning! There is plenty of seating inside, including around a single table that seats about 30. A wonderful piece of wood which has to be seen to be believed. There is further seating both inside and out, where you will also find a modern and very large BBQ. The grounds of the property are self-contained, so you have no unwelcome visitors nor noisy neighbours. The accommodation comes with its own games room, pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, and so much more. Croftview is a real hidden gem that we were delighted to stumble upon when looking for a wedding venue. Oh, and the outside play areas for younger children is a really thoughtful touch...and well used by our wedding parties younger guests and relieved parents! Let us also not forget the amazing photos we had taken in your 'den'...this is a self contained, underground, 'Hobbit Hole'. Simply marvellous and literally lifted out of a Tolkien novel! Children, and adults, thought it was nothing short of amazing! There is so much to recommend this place. Really there is. Including those who make it all work... We want to say a special thank you to Charlotte, at Hinton Park Holidays, who helped to make our wedding day a fantastic time to remember. Nothing was too much trouble, and the cake was an absolute delight, including the wonderful cake tasting afternoon where we were truly spoilt for choice! We are so incredibly grateful for a magical day, and a wonderful holiday week, which exceeded our family's expectations in every respect. I have high standards: they were surpassed. For anyone reading this considering a wedding venue, please seriously consider Croftview. It was a marvellous week, a marvellous wedding day, with the most gracious of host. It is also a wonderful holiday home (we were there for a while) and aside from the wedding, it was the perfect place make your final preparations and then finally to relax, the deed done!
