We got married at Homme House in July 2022 and had the most amazing experience. Right from the start of the planning process Charlie and Sarah were integral to making everything run smoothly, they helped us plan the exact day we wanted and we could not have done it without them. They really do make Homme feel likes it’s yours for a weekend, and the flexibility meant that every bit of our wedding from the suppliers to the post-wedding late night cheese board (recommend) were exactly what we wanted. Having the venue from Friday morning allows you to enjoy preparing yourselves and the venue which definitely helped us to feel more relaxed come the day. The Friday preparations with our friends and family was one of the highlights of the weekend. We had around 110 guests and so had a marquee in the garden, this worked brilliantly on the day and we’d highly recommend it. There’s a flow to the spaces in and around the house and it made the day feel seamless, the Summer house and gardens in particular are beautiful and we loved having an outdoor ceremony. We can’t thank Charlie and Sarah and all the staff at Homme for their help in creating our perfect wedding weekend!

WOW!!! We got married at Homme House at the end of July this year. It was literally perfection from the Friday until the Sunday. We viewed many venues and Homme House was our last viewing. As soon as we were greeted by Charlie (owner) we were sold! Charlie was with us every step of the way and would answer any questions we had on the lead up to the wedding, nothing was ever too much trouble. He is golden!! And when it got to the Wedding weekend, he felt more like a good friend from the rapport we had built with him over the year of planning and visiting the venue. The venue is such a special place with stunning outside areas and the summerhouse is so so dreamy. We have been told by most guests that the wedding felt like a fairytale and that it was also the best wedding that they had ever been to. We spent the Friday to the Sunday at Homme and Charlie and his wife Sarah make you feel like their home is your home for the weekend which was just the best feeling. The accommodation is breath taking and each room is unique and the bridal suite is out of this world. I could go on and on..... If you are getting married soon, I urge you to go to Homme House, I promise that you won't be disappointed. Homme house, Charlie and Sarah we will never be able to thank you enough for making the weekend the best few days ever.

If you want a wedding venue that feels personal, a home away from home, you can do no better than Homme House. We had spent a long time looking at wedding venues online and scrolling through every version of "hidden gem wedding venue" blog there was but we kept coming up against the same 'cookie cutter' venues we were trying to avoid. Then we found Homme House and everything fell into place... right down to the fact their website actually states "Not a cookie cutter wedding venue." It was meant to be. The house is absolutely stunning and if you did nothing to decorate (we did very little), the house would still speak for itself. Charlie and Sarah are the most helpful and thoughtful hosts, often stepping into the role of wedding coordinator to help guide us through the process and advise on various aspects of the day. There are no fixed suppliers that you must use, but we chose ours from their list of recommendations and we were not disappointed. You can completely customise your day - there are few rules - and I have been told by MULTIPLE guests, including some married themselves, that ours was the best wedding they've ever been to! I can say with certainty Charlie, Sarah and Homme House played a huge part in that review. Book the venue and don't look back!

Homme House is the first venue we visited… and the last. From the moment we drove through the front gate we knew it would be where we would be spending our special day. Working with Charlie over the course of our 3 year engagement was such a joy and took away so much of the stress you expect when planning a wedding. Nothing was ever too much, you were always made to feel like you were the only couple getting married at Homme & the responsiveness to our many queries couldn’t of been smoother. The ability to design your perfect day with Homme House at the centre of it is simply amazing. Charlie is happy for you to work with any supplier to bring your vision to life, something that so many venues don’t allow you to do. We visited Homme a large number of times (as we had to qualify to marry at St Bartholomew’s so had a number of trips to Much Marcle) and were also welcome for a check in and a cup of tea. Covid unfortunately meant we have to reschedule our original date but as expected Charlie was at hand to talk through options and could not have dealt with the situation in a more professional way. On the day, the days leading up to it and the morning after, Charlie & Sarah did everything they could to make it the most special time on our lives and that they certainly did. They never laughed at my many spreadsheets, questions (often silly) and requests (often weird). Having access to the house from the day before and until lunchtime the day after is something we couldn’t recommended more. Your wedding day will go so quickly but having the time to create additional memories the day before and morning after is something we can’t even imagine not having had. It also makes your wedding morning a much smoother time and gives you the opportunity to really be in the moment. All of our suppliers commented on how much of a joy it was to work at Homme & with Charlie & Sarah. Our photographer actually said he doesn’t think he’s ever worked with a nicer venue owner. Homme will always hold such a special place in our heart and feel like a home away from home. It is such a magical & beautiful place which we couldn’t describe any better than with the word ‘perfect’! We could not recommend Homme House anymore, choosing it for our big day was the best decision we made and one we will forever be grateful for. Thank you a million times.

We cannot recommend Homme House enough as a wedding venue, and Charlie and Sarah were absolutely brilliant hosts. From the moment we first visited Homme, we fell in love with the stunning house and beautiful gardens. Sarah and Charlie were so knowledgeable about weddings and their communication and response times were incredible for the whole lead up. The house and gardens are standout. The weddings at Homme have no preferred supplier list, which gives you the flexibility to plan whatever you would like for your day. That being said they had a lot of information for options for the day and an extensive list of preferred suppliers which were a massive help. They also have so many options for locations of ceremonies and beautiful spaces you are spoiled for choice! With Homme House, you genuinely felt you were in a home for the weekend, and you have access from the Friday morning to Sunday lunchtime for a Saturday wedding. This was lovely as meant family could meet and explore the grounds on the Friday, and also felt much less corporate and time restricted than other venues. Charlie and Sarah were both incredible on the day, and were on hand whenever we needed them. They were so friendly and they felt like other members of the wedding party, friends and family commented how lovely they were :). All suppliers we worked with comment on how they love weddings at Homme and get on so well with Charlie and Sarah. We cannot thank Charlie and Sarah enough for our perfect day, we would absolutely recommend Homme House.
