Yes! Having worked as a professional makeup artist and hairstylist for over 8 years and with hundreds of brides, I take great pride in my ability to confidently work with individuals of every skin tone.
I use a wide range of luxury high-end products in my kit to suit the needs of different individuals. Brands include Charlotte Tilbury, Inglot, Hourglass, Glossier and Illamasqua. My hair kit includes brands such as L’oreal Pro, Schwarzkopf Professional, and Bed Head by Tigi. All my products have been hand picked for their performance power and longevity. I will use different products depending on skin type, hair type and the kind of look you want to achieve.
The amount of hair and makeup services I am able to do on the wedding day will depend on how much time is available on the day, how early you want to start, and what time you all need to be ready. Should you wish to have a later start or there are more bridal party members than I can manage on my own, I can bring an additional artist to assist (any additional charges will be stupulated in your quote).
I am based in south west London, and my team and I cater to Central and Greater London, Surrey, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Kent, and Sussex. We are of course happy to travel further afield, including for destination weddings. Please be aware that additional charges may apply for mileage, parking, congestion charges, overnight accommodation, and larger bridal parties where an additional artist is needed (any fess will be stipulated on your quote).
Bridal previews (trials) are extremely important and worth having even if you are set on a particular idea for your wedding day. The preview provides the opportunity for us to try out the look you have in mind and ensure that you feel totally happy and comfortable with your chosen look. We can make adjustments and tweaks so that it works for you. Trialling your hair and makeup allows you to see how your skin and/or hair reacts with the products used and gives you a chance to provide feedback. Using photographs and notes, we record the methods and products used so we can easily replicate the look on the wedding morning.
Alice did my bridal hair and make up and my bridesmaid and mum's. I don't wear a lot of makeup and I was anxious I would feel uncomfortable getting a lot done but Alice listened carefully and managed to make me feel so beautiful in such a natural way. She was such a professional and calm presence on the wedding day morning. Alice was also amazingly helpful and knowledgeable when helping plan the makeup and hair style that I wanted. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride.
