FAQS
What happens during adverse weather?
Eloping to Scotland means it will likely rain at some point, even during the summer, so my advice is to embrace it! Some of my favourite elopements have been on wet and windy days because the weather can make your photos even more dramatic. If the weather is particularly bad, we can take short breaks and find spots that are a little more sheltered.
When do we receive our photos, and how many will we get?
My average turnaround for your photos is eight weeks, but this can fluctuate depending on time of year. The number of photos can vary depending on a number of factors, but on average my couples receive around 50 photos per hour of coverage. Quality is much more important to me than quantity or speed, as I work to ensure you receive the very best final product.
Are you an LGBTQIA+ friendly business?
A question that one day I hope should never need be asked - my business prioritises love and connection above all else. My aim is to make my business a welcoming environment for all those I am privileged to work with.
Do you charge extra for travel costs and accommodation?
All travel costs and accommodation charges within mainland Scotland are included within my prices. For anything a little further afield or abroad, please feel free to reach out to discuss your needs.
How do we secure our date?
Make an enquiry over at the contact page, and I will get back to you with availability and a copy of my brochure. If we're a good fit, the date can be secured with a 30% deposit and a signed contract.
We're struggling with the rest of our planning, can you help?
Of course! Being an elopement photographer is a much wider-ranging role than simply taking your photos. I can assist with supplier recommendations, accommodation, ceremony location ideas and timeline planning.
