Owlpen Manor is a beautiful venue in the Cotswolds with accompanying cottages which was fantastic and enabled close friends/family members to stay in for our wedding weekend. More so than this, the team at Owlpen have been absolutely amazing from Day 1. Bella, Hugo and everyone else working at Owlpen went the extra mile and a half to ensure that our special day ran smoothly and without issue! The “Ethos” from the team that a Wedding should be a weekend, rather than just a single day was one that really resonated with us from the very beginning. Being able to have a relaxed meal the night before our special day with family members in the cottages was lovely. Also, having access to the venue the day before and after meant that set-up and takedown were relaxed (As much as it can be the day before a wedding!) All in all, the experience that we had at Owlpen Manor was absolutely amazing. Thank you again to the incredible team there. Would 100% do it again

Absolutely magical I honestly don’t know where to start with writing a review for Owlpen, I feel emotional even trying. Start to finish, the team at Owlpen were the most well organised and professional team you could hope to work with, whilst somehow managing to also be the most friendly, kind, good humoured and accommodating people you could meet. There is a real family feel when working with the team and they have gone above and beyond, whether it be allowing countless visits, responding quickly and informatively to my barrage of emails for the last 1.5 years, to looking after us so well on the wedding day. So many of our guests commented on how well organised the day was, and that was down to the well oiled machine that is the Owlpen staff! The place itself is a piece of magic that it really takes seeing in person to appreciate. Set in a Cotswold valley, there is a real sense of intimate privacy whilst also projecting a vast feeling that comes from having the full run of the place; there isn’t anything like looking down on the beautiful gardens filled with your friends and family bustling around in their finery, that is an image that will stay with me forever. Being able to have a portion of our guests stay the night before and the night of was incredibly unique, and again, the team went well out of their way to accommodate for every last detail. I could never of dreamed that we could have our friends swimming in a lake with a picnic on the bank the day before our wedding, and have a house dedicated to after party fun around a firepit. I’ll never be able to thank Owlpen enough for giving us the best day of our lives.

How to start married life well We have just returned from the perfect midweek wedding of our son and daughter-in-law. We knew even before the day that we were dealing with a highly professional team, who knew what they were doing, but at the same time took the time to listen and accommodate the wants and desires of the happy couple. Planning a wedding during lockdown has not been easy, but Bella and her team supported us throughout. On the day, the Owlpen manor team ensured that our Bride and Groom had the most perfect of days and began married life without any stress. Set in the beautiful Cotswold hills, the facilities for the wedding were beautiful. The staff on hand were obliging, and unobtrusive ensuring guests had their drinks topped up and everyone knew where they needed to be and when. The food was great and everyone had a fantastic time. We were lucky enough to stay on site in the wonderful Grist Mill. I would highly recommend this as place to stay, even if you’re not planning a wedding, the accommodations laid out over three floors included a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. A huge thank you to Bella and the Owlpen team who made our stay relaxing and helped the happy couple start married life together without stress or worry.

We wanted a relaxed and casual wedding, where everyone could get together after being apart so long and Owlpen's layout allowed that. We got married in the Manor House (intimate), had drinks and sweet grazing in the garden (beautiful and private) and then went to the barns for the evening. The disco and bar was in the Cider Barn and the tables for 130 people in the Pole Barn. This was ideal as those who wanted to catch up with friends and family didn't have to compete with the dancing. The fire pits and festoon lights made the most of the excellent weather. We'd recommend Owlpen in a heart beat, mostly due to the staff being so attentive without being intrusive and getting emotionally invested in our day.

I was recently one of the bridesmaids at a wedding here and I would 100% recommend it! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect backdrop for photos. All of the staff were so lovely and they really helped to make the day extra special.

We could not be happier that we chose Owlpen as our wedding venue! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The grounds and buildings are breathtaking. It is full of character, beautifully maintained, and the most magical setting for both our ceremony and reception. A huge shoutout to our incredible wedding coordinators, Bella and Tash. They were truly exceptional. The were well organised, supportive, and always one step ahead. Their professionalism and warm, calming presence made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable. On the day itself, they handled every detail seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. We genuinely felt cared for, and we’re so grateful. Thanks to the Owlpen team, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough to any couple looking for a magical, memorable, and beautifully run celebration!

I honestly can't put in to words how great they are at Owlpen. They are friendly, accommodating, flexible, knowledgeable, and fun. Honestly they are just the best. It's very easy to just say these things, so I will give a few examples: -We had a crisis the day before our wedding in that the coloured tablecloths that I had ordered (Independently, absolutely nothing to do with Owlpen) went AWOL. I was on the phone all morning, my sister-in-law was on the phone all morning. It was stressful, the company were being rubbish, we were running out of time and we were getting nowhere. Enter Tonia. She told us to go and have a cup of tea, and returned 20 minutes later to tell us that she had sorted the whole thing out and that the tablecloths were en route from London in a taxi at no expense to us. Absolute assassin. That is who you need when things go wrong. -Hugo was up a ladder lugging around an enormous disco ball right before our wedding. It was enormous and difficult! He did that not because we asked him to, not because he had to, but because he knew it would look really good. It absolutely did. That kindness and attention to detail is also exactly what you need to make your day extra special. -Tash had our day executed to an absolute T. I didn't have a clue, she was just a blur of efficiency that appeared with drinks in her hands and a huge smile at various parts of the day / evening. She made that event go flawlessly and undoubtedly ironed out numerous hurdles, problems and blips along the way that I had no clue about. I had a completely stress free and blissful day and I know that the vast majority of that was down to her. That is the kind of efficiency and competence that you need to make sure you have a great time at your own wedding. These are just the people that were working on our wedding. I also liaised with Bella who was so informative, and communicated everything clearly and quickly. All of them are consistently helpful and kind. My sister-in-law works in events. She has worked on hundreds of weddings and she is still calling me now to talk about how incredible Owlpen are as a venue! It's obviously a beautiful setting. The cottages are so sweet, quirky and very clean. Our guests loved them. One of them even had a Christmas tree. We had a winter wedding and it was perfect, I can only imagine how incredible the place is in the summer. They have been a really positive and fun team to work with, and I say with my whole heart that if you are looking to get married I don't believe you could find better than Owlpen Manor.

As a same-sex, mixed-race couple, we’ve sometimes encountered uncertainty or hesitation from venues — but at Owlpen Manor, we felt instantly and wholeheartedly welcomed. It was an inclusive, safe space where we could truly be ourselves. The team celebrated our individuality and supported every detail that made our wedding uniquely us. We cannot recommend Owlpen Manor highly enough. It’s a place filled with heart, warmth, and soul — and it will forever hold a special place in ours 🌈

To Tash, Bella and all of the Owlpen Team, We can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our weekend. It was perfect in every way and there is not a single thing we would change. Owlpen was the very first venue that we saw after getting engaged. After a couple of other venue visits and nothing coming close, we were so confident that Owlpen was the one for us. We couldn’t have been more right. The accommodation onsite was perfect and meant we could enjoy a whole weekend with our closest family and friends. That was a major thing for us. All the cottages were brilliant and so was the newly added glamping! The venue itself was perfect. The gardens were absolutely stunning for our reception drinks and the Pole Barn and Cyder Barn provided the right space for our wedding breakfast and party. The different areas provided movement throughout the day and meant that you never felt like you were in the same place twice. The day seamlessly moved from one beautiful place to the next. The feedback from so many of our guests was that they have not been to such a beautiful venue before. The success of our day was only partly down to the beauty of the venue, it was also down to you and the whole team. From the word go you made the planning so relaxed and enjoyable. You answered all the little questions we had and were happy to accommodate any of our requests. Your advice and experience the day before was invaluable. You let us run with our vision for the day but were great in guiding us on what works best. On the day, you couldn’t have been better. You were the perfect mix of professionalism and good humour. Nothing was too much and you kept the day running smoothly and to schedule without any stress whatsoever.
