Why Southdowns Manor? We believe that the wedding experience offered by Southdowns Manor is very different to that of other venues. A luxurious interior, magical atmosphere and stunning location put the Manor and its beautiful grounds in a league of their own. But we can offer so much more than that. Exclusive use, your home for the day From your arrival to your departure, the whole of the Manor and its grounds are exclusively for only you and your guests, truly becoming your home for the day. Flexibility, tell us what you want, and we will deliver You may choose one of our hugely popular wedding packages. You may want to vary the package, or you may wish to work with us to create something that is uniquely yours. Tell us what you want - whether it’s traditional, modern or something completely different - and we can make it happen. Everything ‘in house’ From your ceremony to breakfast the following morning, you can relax knowing that everything can be taken care of under one roof - including a Wedding and Events Manager, catering to the highest standards, bar and beverage services, overnight accommodation and much more. How do you manage the client journey from viewing, booking and through to the wedding day and beyond?

We know that a client journey begins from the moment they find our website, see us on social media or receive one of our emails that we need to wow them. We ensure that that process of making an enquiry with us is as easy and as straight forward as possible and ensure that as soon as an enquiry has been made that we send the couple a personal email to ensure they have all the information they require. We ensure that the booking procedure is straight forward and easy for the couple ensuring that they are aware of all the payments options that are available to them. We love to ensure that the wedding couple feel comfortable well informed and know that we are always on the other end of a phone or email to answer any question they might have. We try to obtain as much information as possible about our couples to ensure that everything is personal and bespoke to them.

We visited Southdowns Manor on a whim as it was a bit out of our location preference however as soon as we pulled up to the venue we fell in love. Jenny who helped us with our enquiry was so helpful and we ended up booking a date that was 6 months later, again this was not in our original plan but was the best thing we ever did! Kate then became our wedding planner and we could not fault her in the slightest. I had an issue with one vendor and she was brilliant in helping me sort it amongst any other issues I had, even helping me decide whether to take the risk and hold the wedding outside as the weather was very 50/50. We originally booked this manor because we wanted to get married outside so we are so glad the weather held out. I used many suppliers from their recommended book and these were fab, so glad they have this available considering I am not from the area. The rooms were beautiful. the honeymoon suit is everything you could want and more to wake up in. These were available on the morning of the wedding which was an added bonus so our guest staying could freshen up beforehand. All the little touches Southdowns add do not go unnoticed either (which I won’t mention in case this gets published and it ruins the surprise for other couples getting married here) Thank you all so much for hosting the best day of our lives, I would do it every day for the rest of my life if I could. Look forward to coming back one day for one of your dinner evenings!

Everything from receiving the brochure for the first time, to our initial first meeting , booking and planning meetings, has run smoothly and to perfection. From our Wedding Planner Kate and initial meeting with Natalie we ended up with the perfect wedding which we will remember always with great fondness. The catering team, events team, housekeeping team were all fantastic, friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to get married here.
