Many people hold their marriage ceremonies on Temple Island. Although the island is not licensed for weddings, many couples choose to do the legal part elsewhere and have their blessing on the island surrounded by friends and family.
The island can accommodate 40 people seated in the main room and a total of 120 with the addition of a marquee at the rear of the island.
The island is hired from 9.00 to 23.59. Elegant Cuisine must be present on the island during the event.

I want to write to thank you for all of your help, support and advice with organising the recent party on Temple Island. Temple Island was simply the perfect and most delightful setting for the party and especially meaningful to the many rowers in attendance. In addition to this, both Meridian Marquees and Elegant Cuisine were first-class suppliers. In short, the party was truly amazing and will be long remembered by all - Temple Island is not only unique but also a very special venue.
