Matt and Jodie are the absolute best! I spent quite some time researching photographers and ultimately loved their style. I gave them full creative freedom and it was the best decision I ever made! Drop dead gorgeous photos that are unique, artistic, and leave people speechless. They made a video that had people thinking I knew someone in Hollywood. Thank you both again for everything!

My wife and I got married in Scotland at Slains Castle in Peterhead on November 22, 2022, and The Sassenachs were a dream to work with. We are from the States, so planning our little wedding from afar was a bit daunting, but from our first zoom call with Matt and Jodie we knew they were the team we wanted to shoot our wedding. We actually found them on Instagram and fell in love with their style and then meeting them and getting to know them was icing on the cake. The day of our ceremony they were game for anything. They were fun and total pros. We are so in love with our photos. Everyone can’t stop saying how the photos look like they came straight out of a movie! We definitely recommend them!

Cannot thank Matt and Jodie enough for their kindness and being a part of our very special day in lovely Edinburgh! Not only are they charming and hilarious, but they are masterful professionals and go the extra mile. They will put you at ease, even in ice cold, pouring rain. We are from America and had never even been to Scotland prior, luckily our trust was not misplaced. From videos calls prior to when you get your pictures they handle everything with the utmost care. Again, thank you, Matt and Jodie! We hope to remain in contact for many years to come and when we revisit, we will definitely have to book something again.

I think the stars say it all! It's hard to say explain how thankful we are to Matt and Jodie for accepting to work with us for our wedding photos. They have a way to make you feel instantly confortable, by their kindness, professionalism, sense of humor and flexibility! We absolutely loved working with Matt and Jodie! Right from the initial facetime meet across the world, I knew they were the perfect couple to capture the look and feel that we wanted. My husband hates getting his picture taken, and they instantly put us at ease, and made us feel comfortable. They just felt like good friends that we were hanging out with who also happened to be taking our pictures! We were celebrating our 25th anniversary, and wanted dark, romantic, moody shots that captured the beautiful and wild feel of Scotland. They gave us exactly that.
