What's your capacity?
We can host weddings for up to 200 people and we have several unique event spaces in and around the house for you and your guests to enjoy, and they have all been designed to give you total freedom as to how and where you would like to experience individual elements of your day. Say ‘I do’, eat, drink and dance – in or out (or shake it all about) – you decide.
What about the food and drink?
We work exclusively with an amazing caterer called Caravan Made. Their food is incredible, all drinks are included within their menus and their service is friendly and professional. They do not disappoint. Yum!
Where will we stay?
We have 4 spacious and individually-designed ensuite guest rooms that can hold up to 12 people. For your other guests we have a comprehensive local accommodation brochure that we can send you.
Will the venue be exclusively ours?
Always! The venue hire includes one day hire of all the venue spaces and two night's of accommodation (for up to 12 people). Weddings and events never overlap. We (Jo and Duncan) live in the upper floors of the house and are on hand to help and advise whenever needed.
What about sustainability?
We strive to be environmentally conscious and sustainable, both personally and within our business. We love to reuse and repurpose old materials (you'll hopefully spot a lot of this when you look around) and we try to reduce our waste as much as possible. All our kitchens (including the guest one that you will use) include recycling stations. From 2023 we will be exclusively working with one catering company, Caravan Made, partly because they share these values and have a local and seasonal approach to their gastronomy (but also because they are very nice people and their food is delicious!).
