This is one of the most common things couples tell me, and it’s completely normal! Most people aren’t used to being photographed, and you don’t need to suddenly become confident or “perform” for great images to happen. My role is to guide you gently when needed and create space for moments to unfold naturally. I use a relaxed, documentary-led approach, with simple prompts rather than rigid posing. The focus is on connection, movement, and interaction as opposed to standing still and worrying about what to do with your hands. By keeping things easy and pressure-free, couples often tell me they forget about the camera altogether and actually enjoy the experience. The result is photography that feels natural, emotional, and genuinely you.

I don't put a cap on number of photos. I'm an artist and art doesn't have a number that measures its success. It could be 672 or 1497 photos. I always send the best photographs, even sometimes a few of the same perspective but with different facial expressions. In the end, my aim is to tell a visual story. I love what I do and it doesn't benefit me nor you to withhold photos of value. I want you to have the best selection of photographs that you are going to cherish forever. The biggest factor determining the number of photos is the duration that I am there for.

Yes. I regularly work with analogue film alongside digital photography. Film offers a very distinct look and feel, so I always prefer to discuss it properly rather than treating it as a one-size-fits-all add-on. I work with both 35mm and medium format film, each bringing its own character and rhythm to the way a wedding is documented. We’ll talk through what you’re drawn to, how film can complement your day, and the best way to integrate it alongside digital coverage. That way, the final gallery feels cohesive, intentional, and true to you, rather than experimental for the sake of it. As with everything I do, the focus is on quality, consistency, and creating work that stands the test of time.

All of the photography you see in my portfolio has been photographed and edited by me personally. This is important to me, as it ensures complete consistency in style, quality, and storytelling. That said, I’m very experienced in working as part of a team when a wedding or event requires it. I regularly collaborate with trusted professionals and know how to work seamlessly alongside planners, venues, and other suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly. For film, I often work alongside a professional filmmaker (and, when needed, a larger crew). I only work with people whose approach and standards align closely with my own, which allows us to create cohesive, high-quality work without disruption or confusion on the day. Whether working solo or as part of a team, my priority is always the same: calm coordination, clear communication, and delivering work you can trust completely.
