Our maximum day time capacity for a seated ceremony and wedding breakfast is 96. Later in the evening, we can hold up to 160-180 guests in total, to party the night away with you!
We are licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies at Dodmoor! You can also choose to have your reception at Dodmoor House, if you are having your ceremony at church.
While we have an extensive list of local and recommended suppliers who we love (and would always suggest taking a look at first!), the choice is entirely yours for who you bring in to supply on your wedding day. Please just note that for day time catering, an outside catering fee (of no more than £60) would apply if you were to use caterers that are not one of our two recommended companies.
We have an on-site Honeymoon Suite, which is of course reserved for the Happy Couple on the wedding night! For your lovely guests, we have a deal with a nearby hotel, in which you can reserve a number of rooms and guests booked onto this reservation will receive bed, breakfast and transport back to the hotel at the end of the night, within their room rate. We also have a wide selection of other local hotels, pubs with rooms, and airbnb's on our website! You're never short of somewhere to stay in the lovely Northamptonshire countryside which surrounds Dodmoor House.
Yes! We are super dog friendly at Dodmoor. As long as your beloved pet is supervised throughout the day, they are very welcome to join the celebrations (or maybe even act as ring bearer...). We just ask that they head home after the drinks reception when possible, and also advise that you hire a chaperone if you can. We recommend a local dog chaperoning company, who can always help!

The venue is absolutely stunning and although it rained on the day, the way the team worked to get everything perfect still was amazing. Thank you for everything! Your attention to detail, how organised and efficient you were in making sure everything was just right. Communication was so easy and efficient and you really listened to our wishes/thoughts/worries.
The team was amazing from start to finish. Particularly Shona. Nothing was ever an issue and Shona would also respond to us so quickly, despite me not answering for weeks at a time! Shona is so organised and we have had compliments from our other suppliers about how well organised she is. We were made to feel comfortable the whole day, and we were allowed to do whatever suited us to make it the perfect day.
The Dodmoor team made the whole process easy from start to finish. Any questions or changes we had were resolved quickly. The planning meeting went through every possible scenario meaning we could spend the day in the moment without worrying, we knew Carolyn had got it! The service on the day from all staff was exceptional (many guests commented it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and that they’d never been so well fed and served!).
