The White Barn

On the 4th of November 2023, we celebrated our special day at The White Barn, and we couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. When we first visited The White Barn, we knew we had found the perfect place for our wedding. From our first meeting with Beth to the lovely family breakfast the day after the wedding, the staff at The White Barn were so kind, helpful and accommodating. We always felt confident that everything was in capable hands. Our food was provided by the Farm & Field café on site and it was absolutely gorgeous! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The wonderful Beth, Dani, Millie and their fabulous team worked tirelessly to ensure every aspect of our wedding day went smoothly. From the ceremony to the reception, their expertise and attention to detail were evident. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that everything was being taken care of. The White Barn was so flexible and open to our ideas; they made every effort to accommodate our vision for the day. Whether it was customising the menu or adjusting the layout of the space, they were committed to making our wedding uniquely ours. Choosing The White Barn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The venue's gorgeous setting (I still cannot believe how lucky we were to have the flower meadow looking SO gorgeous in November), combined with the outstanding service provided by the staff, created a day that exceeded our dreams. Thank you, Beth and your glorious, hardworking team, for making our wedding day truly magical.

We were lucky enough to get married at The White Barn in July 2022 and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. When we first went to view The White Barn it was still in the early days and wasn’t quite finished but we loved the potential it had and could tell from the passion Beth had that it was going to be an utterly beautiful space. The outside grounds were amazing and we knew straight away that we wanted to have our wedding when the incredible wildflower meadow was blooming. We were even lucky enough to have our ceremony outside amongst the colourful flowers. Every time we went back over the planning process, the Barn looked better and better, and being able to do as much or as little as we wanted to decorate the space was really good. Dani took over the coordination of our wedding, with the assistance of Millie, and they could not have been more helpful, making sure they understood what we wanted and taking the pressure off of us as we knew they would ensure everything was perfect. Dani helped us tailor our package to ensure we were getting the best value for what we wanted, without just pushing us to go for the most expensive options. We made good use of the other amazing businesses and facilities on site, our gorgeous flowers coming from the wonderful Frogmary Flowers, our delicious cakes (we couldn’t choose just one flavour!) coming from Farm and Field and our lovely on-the-day stationery being crafted by the incredibly talented Dani. A group of us also went to Moondown Spa for manicures and pedicures the day before the wedding. We stayed in the stunning Bridal suite the night before and the night of the wedding, which was the perfect way to relax and make the most of the weekend, and finished off with a delicious breakfast just the two of us at Farm and Field. Having all of this on site was of course incredibly convenient, but the quality of everything was absolutely exceptional as well. Between them, Dani, Millie and Beth made sure the planning and the day ran so smoothly. The team was so thoughtful, they even gifted us a bottle of the watermelon iced tea from Farm and Field, which I had mentioned was my favourite, as a wedding present. All of these little touches added up and we can’t thank them enough. We had the most incredible day and had so many comments from people saying it was the best wedding they had been to. We love seeing all of the exciting things going on at The White Barn on Instagram and knowing that it will continue going from strength to strength. Anyone thinking about booking The White Barn for your venue, do it! We couldn’t recommend it enough.

In 2021 we were looking for wedding venues and had recently followed the progress of the opening of The White Barn via Instagram. When we came to visit we were totally inspired and fell in love with the farm itself, the people and the beautiful WHITE BARN! It was really important to us that we found a venue that felt homely and sociable whilst also accommodating our many friends and family who like to party! The White Barn did all that and so much more on our wedding day in April 2023. From the moment we were planning to the finishing touches on the weekend, Beth, Millie and the whole team were the perfect hosts and made the entire weekend a most wonderful experience. The attention to detail and standard of hospitality were second to none and the food was divine! They even accommodated our rather local request for an All English Breakfast as our main wedding meal!! We visited Frogmary Green Farm many times before the wedding and have been back since and it will forever be a magical place for our family to spend time together. If you have the opportunity to visit or be lucky enough to plan a wedding there, you will not be disappointed. Sincerest thank you to all the team for being just THE BEST!

However, what truly made our wedding day extraordinary was the exceptional service and dedication of Dani, one of the venue's coordinators. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of our celebration, Dani went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was flawless. Dani's professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. She took the time to understand our vision, preferences, and expectations and then worked tirelessly to turn them into reality. Her expertise and experience were invaluable, providing us with guidance and suggestions that enhanced our wedding beyond our wildest dreams. On the day of our wedding, Dani truly shone. She coordinated every element perfectly, ensuring that every detail was executed with precision and care. What impressed us the most was Dani's unwavering commitment to ensuring our happiness and satisfaction. She anticipated our needs before we even knew them ourselves, ensuring that we were taken care of throughout the day. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine passion for her work made us feel like we were the only couple in the world, and for that, we will be forever grateful. Our wedding day at The White Barn was more than we could have ever imagined, and it was all thanks to the exceptional efforts of Dani and the team. The combination of the stunning venue and the team’s unparalleled dedication and expertise created an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. Totally biased, but it's the most stunning venue we laid eyes on! A beautifully modern, blank canvas for you to decorate and enjoy as you wish, I honestly don’t think there is a limit to what you can do at The White Barn. We were able to arrive the day before the wedding from 1pm to start to set up which allowed us to ensure we had everything we needed for the day, and we could visually see how things would look for our ceremony. Watching our vision come to life on the day of the wedding was the most incredible feeling. This leads me nicely to Millie, our wedding coordinator - nothing was too big or small for her. Millie was always available at the end of the phone or by email, and from food and drink to decoration and music, Millie made our wedding planning seamless. It's an overwhelming feeling knowing your day is in the hands of someone else(!) but there really was no reason to worry, as Millie completely transformed the barn and is the reason our vision came to life so well - she had such a great understanding of how we wanted things to look on the day and the endless emails really made it all worth it! Millie also arranged and accommodated 40 guests for breakfast at The White Barn the morning after our wedding, which really finished off our weekend of celebrations. The Astral Suite (bridal suite) is the most wonderful space for you to enjoy the night before and the morning of your wedding with your bridesmaids, and the room is refreshed during your wedding day ready for you to stay again as Newlyweds - just perfect! The ‘pop-up’ beds available for bridesmaids in the Astral Suite were brilliant, and all of my bridesmaids had a great night's sleep. We also hired the Aurora Suite as an extra space for the bridal party to get ready, which allowed us more space for preparations (very much needed on the hottest day of the year!) I recommend Farm & Field Café (next door to the barn) as the perfect place to enjoy food and drinks the evening before your wedding if you are getting married on a Saturday (only open on Friday evenings). There is also an onsite spa (Moondown Spa), and I was lucky enough to be treated to an aromatherapy massage the day before my wedding - quite possibly the best massage I have ever had (Naomi was fab!) I highly recommend if you have time, squeeze in a treatment in-between getting the barn ready. I can’t wait to return! We highly recommend Frogmary Flowers (on-site florist). Not only did we absolutely love what Holly created for us on the day, but we also received so many lovely comments from our wedding guests (and vendors!) who were also blown away by her work. Again, Holly was always available to answer any queries we had and make any amendments as required. Holly was on hand on the morning of the wedding to make sure that all buttonholes were provided and attached without malfunction and complete our beautiful flower arch which was displayed around the barn doors. If the barn open days fall well with your wedding preparations, I would highly recommend going along. They are a great way to find vendors if you're still at that stage of planning, or like us, see the venue again and visualise how things will look for your day. There is not a single thing we would have changed, and if you’re lucky enough to have Millie as your co-ordinator, you will be in very safe hands. We couldn't have asked for more!
