You know what your day needs? Your day needs a woodland theme wedding. Amy & Craig’s wedding is just filled with SO much love. Oh, and it looks ridiculously cool too. Their incredible woodland venue was complete with a boho style theme, pampas grass and macrame. We do genuinely feel as though we’ve stepped into a wonderland… with a little festival vibe thrown in there for good measure. Oh, and who would have thought a roll top bath in the middle of a forest could provide such awesome pictures?! We absolutely love them! Woodland themed wedding with boho vibes and macrame decor
We aimed to try and use as many local and independent suppliers as we could to add the personal touch, looking for the best and most amazing people.
BOHO STYLE
We decided from the outset we wanted a boho style woodland theme wedding, with a bit of a festival thrown in there so we could dance the night away. Things changed with COVID, we still had our boho look in the amazing woodland at the Nest. We had already started to buy, build and create our decor for our wedding before lockdown so we continued and never had any doubt we wouldn't be using any of it. We embraced Macramé and Pampas Grass as much as we could, and added a touch of gold and terracotta.
THE DAY
We wanted a marriage not a wedding, and we just went for it, we have no regrets in that. We had an incredible day, and not many can say they got married in the middle of a global pandemic. On the day we did have a gentle reminder dotted around to 'Stop... Sanitise!'. Everybody supported our decision and went above and beyond! We can't thank everyone enough for making it happen.
This day truly feels as though it belongs to Amy & Craig. If you know your style and what you want, then go for it!
As much as you plan, sometimes you can't plan everything. You are what makes it amazing and special, our memories are worth their weight in gold! Do what is right for you, love will find a way to shine through.
